Good. I don't see why people are against more security for our country. And it's not only to help in the fight against terrorism, but to counter money laundering, organised crime and other dealings. Maybe they could tell me what the feck my mate Big J was going on about last night. He was pished and giving me the lowdown on Glasto but as the football was nearing its climax I just laid the phone on a cushion next to me and said wow and really every 5 minutes.

This measure is not going to deter hardened criminals nor will it stop organised crime, nor will it stop well prepared well funded terrorists from communicating with each other.

What it will do is allow the Govt to be seen to be doing something and it will allow the Govt to snoop on everybody in the hope of picking up information that it may be able to use in a variety of circumstances.

It will have access to so much data that it cannot possibly process any realistic amount,relying probably on computer programs to pick up code words or specific patterns of words which in the event may just turn out to be harmless.

So get ready for more and more stories of Muslims being arrested on suspicion of plotting terrorism when in fact they were talking about a movie or talking about a terrorist attack that they saw on the news.

This will further alienate this group of people and help to create the very thing it is trying to stop.

Way to Go......British Govt another dangerously stupid half baked ill thought out law.
