Sorry, if they cannot even make it look half decent on an advert, the film has surely got to be utter crap. Even the worst films manage to look alright on adverts..

Still going to have to see this though as James will just whinge on and on and on

I've been thinking about this recently but I really hope Toy Story 4 has a nice original song!

Toy Story 1 and 2 had a few but the ones that stick out are "You've Got a Friend in Me" from TS1 and "When She Loved me". Other Pixar films (namely Monsters Inc's "If I Didn't Have you") have had similar touching songs (Coco had some beautiful songs, but in a different way that wouldn't work in Toy Story and vice versa) but Toy Story 3 only gave us... one forgettable song which I had to Google, and that was outshadowed by the Spanish cover of "You've Got a Friend in Me" </3

Basically I'm hoping we get a song similar and emotional to some of the songs in Pixar films in the earlier days. I wanna walk out the cinema wanting to go home to listen to whatever song they wrote for the film

It's really good Vicky, you will enjoy it

9 years since the last once, hard to believe ...and we got a reprise of young Andy (cameo)

Bad marketing can make any good film look bad.

I know it looks great and everyone says it’s great, but I just can’t get past the fact TS3 had the perfect ending and this didn’t need to be made regardless of how good it is :’(

I think I'd watch it in the cinema but I wouldn't say I am excited for it

Ok I liked it but it was definitely the worst of the 4 and after all the hype it made it kinda disappointing. They might as well should've just ended it after the 3rd one as it had more of a "finish" feel and was also just flat out a much better movie.

Complaints:

Spoiler:

It was too much of a feel-good movie, like to the point it didn't even have any legit suspenseful struggles. It felt like any "danger" wasn't actually much of a threat, no major sweat. There was no real villain (the little girl doll was technically the villain???). Soooo many of the original Toy Story characters that the show is based on were barely showcased at all --- felt like just a lot of extras. It dragged on taking MULTIPLE trips to the boutique shop which in the end had a very anti-climactic climax. The ending was weak imo... it should've had more emotion in it and just in general that choice of an ending felt more like a cliffhanger for a 5th movie than anything. I feel like they might as well make one more now

Some of the new characters were good though In particular the bunny/duck voiced by Key & Peele!

It might sound like I hated the movie but I didn't; the comedy saved it. I also did like some of the story and some of the buildup (more-so early on). First half was better than second half of the movie imo. It had its moments so I'll still say it was a decent/good watch, enjoyable enough, just not up to par for Toy Story really.

This was cute, but it didn't hold a candle to the other three. Didnt fail to make me cry, though. However, nothing will beat the third. The message to that one came at such an apt time and I was a complete mess, haha.

Not been the cinema since 2015 but MAYBE will go to see this. Idk the cinema just doesn’t appeal to me as I hate being silent/not being on my phone but hopefully shouldn’t be an issue if this is as good as everyone says!

This was by far the worst of the four, average and completely unnecessary

I disagree. I put it at par with 3 (2 being the best and 1 secind). I thought it was really good and am glad Bo Peep was back.
