Default My Opinion behind the Latest TWIST

i can't quite believe people still don't understand the concept behind the latest twist

- Helen is the resident villain. The big Bad. With no chance of winning whatsoever. Her secure place in the house is essential to the storyline.

We know, given the chance, she would be evicted instantly.

- The only real rival to Helen is Ashleigh. Who some now consider to be the hero of the piece.

- By putting Ashleigh in the firing line it only strengthens her position in the house and thus creates an underdog.

- What is the one thing the general public love? An Underdog.

- People will vote in their droves to save Ashleigh and evict Steven. This will create a lot of revenue and ensure that BBUK returns year after year

- It also sets Ashleigh well on the way to winning. With the final 'confrontation' between good and evil taking us all the way to the finish line.

Kind of like when it got down to Jason Vs Nadia in BB5

It has all the makings of a classic ending to a classic series.

Yes producers decide twists as they go on. Because its not fiction. They need to see how the public reacts to certain housemates and use the 'loving' or the 'loathing' to build interest, storylines and revenue!

Its simple really.

Not really the truth, it's just what you like to believe.

So what? They're doing it just to annoy you?

To be unpopular. To get themselves taken off air and everyone loses their job?

I don't know how you think people will return when they've been so put off by this series.

Money

Money makes the world go round.

They make money by stirring the pot and putting favourites in the firing line

They've broken all trust with the viewers and taken the public vote out of the eviction process one week. They're not going to make much money with less people watching and even less people voting.

i didn't think of that actually, (ashleigh vs helen final)...that will probably ensure an ashleigh win...i hope!

if she wins then the public are finally starting to see sense and moving away from the dopey, happy characters like winston and mark

I have posted my theory and have considered your theory. I consider EVERYTHING. We will find out on Friday. If your theory turns out true obviously I would be happier for selfish reasons, but I would much prefer if we just watched BB and decided for ourselves who we love and hate and the show progressed naturally like old school BB.
If your theory was true, can you explain why they give Ashleigh bad edit and don't show eg her winning the task against Mark?
If they don't like her, the reason they don't show her winning in a task against Mark is obvious.
If they do like her, what is the reason for not showing her winning that task against Mark?

I understand where you're coming from but I think it was just a twist because they haven't had one for a few days...

Hardcore fans like yourself will know this has happened thanks to clips, twitter feed etc.

If the main show don't show something happening and portray her in a bad light then the HARDCORE fans scream that theres a conspiracy to get rid of her.

They will then ensure that she is saved by spending more money and time screaming from the rooftops to save her.

I understand people getting annoyed with the manipulation. But then we all know Steven is certain to go. This is probably the most obvious eviction week since Pauline.

That is possible. But what is also possible is if I was right with my theory and Helen evicts Ashleigh, you create a monster and as Steven would be in possession of the final pass after the twist I suggested, Helen would be up for eviction the following week and they could also make a fortune from all the public voting her out. That is the evil way of making money, I hope your theory is the right one, because it's a nicer way

Get real? Get some perspective and some truth then. I haven't even been opinionated really over this "twist" so they're not doing it to annoy me at all.
