Pretty sure many people live in council houses in their earlier life but she's established a career, also you need to stop the idea of someone being a bad person for living in a council house... It's wrong and unfair

i'm not even gonna comment on the rest of that

There is NO DOUBT Conor is a racist pig!

But why is it fair for Helen to do what Conor did only instead of Indians it's Irish. It seems people think it's no longer racist if colour isn't involved.
Technically, if she had a problem with white Irish people on the basis that they're Irish, it wouldn't be racism. It would, however, be xenophobia, which is along the same general lines.

I say IF because I have no idea if Helen has a problem with Irish people.

Actually, if you enter a show with a public vote and hope to win after behaving in a bad way, it is important for some viewers to "forgive" you.

That's quite a stereotypical image of a chav.

Council housed a violent.
I'm not sure why council housing has to be brought into it.

Living in a council house doesn't make someone a chav

That's what Chav means... I'm Irish I use the word smick. But chav by YOUR English definition is "Council Housed And Violent"
Not my words.

Ashleigh my favourite housemate is from a council estate, I am not using that to bash people. I am saying people are wrong using that word saying Helen isn't when CLEARLY she is.

Council housed and violent.
A chav is a term coined by the media to lump, label and stereotype working class people as all being a part of a culture which is violent, workshy and ridden with alcoholism and drug abuse. It's demonising and demeaning and has been made popular by politicians and the elite alike in an attempt to trample on those who are deprived of the most and lack the necessary means to better themselves

Can people please stop throwing this term around it's offensive and ignorant

Then if you are right, prove me right. Life is all about perception.
Show me the error of my ways if you are right.
Instead of looking at my point then saying "Oh I just can't even read that"

If you wanna be right, show your right. Stop pussy footing around it.

She didn't live in a council house, and from what I have seen ,some people in 'council' houses are no more violent than anyone else and their houses are lovely!!!

I have nothing to say because I'm not arguing with someone as ignorant as you who will throw around the term chav and use it as an insult towards someone who doesn't even remotely represent the definition of the word...

I quoted you because you attempted to define what a chav was, I was correcting you

I know other people have used it, hence why I said 'can people please stop throwing this term around'

Two great HMs that gave us plenty to discuss and were leaders of the better group.

Comparisons stop there though.

I know. I said you were the first to use the word "chav."
The member was annoyed at us using the term completely.
But yes you were spot on anyway.

Helen shouldn't even be in the same sentence as Conor. Conor was possibly the worse vilest housemate of all time. Helen had many faults but she began to mellow and did say that she was sorry for what she did and try to make amends with Ashleigh.

No, you think you defined it but you didn't. You attempted to by wheeling out a popular misconception and as such got it wrong. Do some reading and then you'll understand why my explanation is correct
