Question Almond milk

I have recently given up dairy and have began using almond milk, I like it but my mother hates it, do you like almond milk?

I can't say I've ever tried it.

I've led a sheltered life with milk. I just get semi skimmed.

Well, I think it's a bit more expensive than cows milk, nothing wrong with regular semi skimmed if you can have dairy.

They don't milk the almonds.

You soak the almonds in water and then take out some of them and blend it up so the almonds which are in it go smooth and thicken it, it feels like real milk and tastes really similar with nutty undertones.

I am not intolerant but it doesn't agree with me very well, I am hoping cutting it out will clear up the rest of my eczema too, dairy and eczema are linked.

I was vegan for a while and it felt amazing. Almond milk was my favourite of all the milks. My sisters been a rawtill4 vegan for about 2 years now and she used to be really fat and sick looking and now she has abs and freakishly buff arms when she flexes. When she isn't flexing though she looks really feminine and slightly fragile lol but she eats a lot and that was her problem in the first place that she ate out of boredom so rawtill4 was a great lifestyle for her and continues to be great part of her life. I hate when people make fun of vegan and say it's not right. Clearly it's better than having fried greasey food :/

I just brought a whole lotta irrelevant stuff in here but yeah almond milk is the daddy.

I much prefer to consume the milk that a cow produces for its young

because that sounds, er, normal

Goats milk is a good alternative, the molecules are easier for the body to breakdown than cows milk, and manuka honey is said to be good for eczema (google it)
