Default There are no changes to the stage

@bigblaggeruk: There are no changes to the exterior set & stage for #cbb

Kind of annoying, but wasn't expecting it. But maybe BBOTS has been giving a new set!

Oh I'm sure they'll stick some tacky plastic chandelier up or maybe some gold tinsel on the railings.

You know to make it upmarket for the celebs?

I must be the only person the exterior doesn't bother.

I like the exterior, it's fine. The interior is most important.

Theres an empty crowd space at the bottom thats off camera, i'll be satisfied if they open that to audience & fill that up & i'll count that as a change. It is possible it was like this in early c5 days (2011/2012)

I like the exterior set, though as someone else said, I wish they'd fill the area to the left of the stage, where the crane camera is.

I know you'd get a **** view if you were a fan, but I'm sure a few fans would stand there.

The exterior is fine with me. I hope the massive amount of fireworks returns this year as well.

I wouldn't have expected a change to the actual stage. The theme of the series is reflected in the lights and graphics that display on the eye anyway.

They'll have to remove the BB15 graphics from the runway at least.

Oh yeah defo.

They do actually change the logos and lighting every year which is pretty much what Channel 4 did but because the Channel 5 staging is so in your face its very samey each year.

Its a good set up but that stage needs to be moved back or the stands taken down to make the space look bigger.

I was watching at my mothers house last year and she commented on how small the audience was. It makes it look a bit tacky if you ask me especially when they can fill that space far better.

True.
For example,BB15. They added that Power Trip themed carpeton the walkway with the white stage and purple blue lighting which goes with the eye.

Come to think of it, the BB15 exterior was my favourite. Mainly because they got rid of those lights at the edge of the walkway, and I really liked the way the the dots on the eye studio looked the same as the actual eye.

I've noticed that whilst, the main parts of the exterior don't change. I.e, layout, spiral staircase, eye studio or walkway.
There's often small changes each year, like those black rails near the TV.

I would also like that empty crowd space to be filled up.
Apparently it's empty as it's where the security is and where the camera's are.
I would also imagine it's easier to get people out of the compound with the empty space.

I like the exterior, although it's much smaller than it looks on tv. When i feel better i'll apply for some eviction tickets.

I wish they'd put the steps back on the eye if they're keeping it like that tbh, without them the runway looks a lot smaller than it used to.

I'm 50/50 on that.
Whilst I liked how the eye was raised higher when the stairs were there, so the stage roof wasn't too high for the eye.
I also like how the runway is on level with the circular stage inside the eye studio. So it seems like a massive runway with an eye in the middle of it. If that makes sense.

Found this picture of the BB15 launch. No denying that set looks beautiful.

Weird how the black steps near the circular stage are laid out straight instead of to the left.
