Default Favourite item of clothing or footwear

Have you something in your wardrobe or cupboard you couldn't bear to part with?
Mine is a pair of silver Doc Martin 'bovver boots.'

Bang them on ebay! I have a sheepskin coat that was my sisters in the 70s... I don't even know how I ended up with it or why I keep it

I've got a very special pair of leather dressage boots that I obviously wear for riding horses but also wear them with day clothes. I've had them about five years now and can't see me ever parting with them.

I also have some great biker boots that I wouldn't part with.

I had a jacket when I was younger that I begged from my friend.
It hung in my wardrobe for years and then when my daughter grew up she "borrowed" it from me.
Very retro

Some deseigner once said that clothes are on a 30 year cycle, so 30 years from now your present day outfits will be retro
