I've just read that Katy P and Katy H were discussing Katy P's handicapped son's travel arrangements. He has a personal driver and a nurse travelling with him every day and Katy P said that the government pay for it.
Katy H was shocked (as I was) and asked why Katy P didn't pay for it herself? Katy P's reply was that it would cost a grand a day. What a selfish mare. Someone, who hasn't a fraction of her fortune, could do with the help and maybe can't get it because of users like her. |

What!!!!
She is a multi millionaire, who probably has accounts who set up tax avoidance schemes. No way should she be getting any format of government payments.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In a word: no. I'd also like to know on what possible grounds a thousand pounds a day for a driver and a nurse seems fair...

Even the richest are entitled to child benefits but many don't claim it.

Well that's shocking that someone with her wealth is entitled to government aid

A lot of tax i should imagine. But if i was worth £30 mil i would pay for such things myself but have no qualms about others not doing so. Last edited by abhorson; 26-01-2015 at 04:23 PM. |

Sounds a bit daft, however, if he is entitled and it is not means tested then so be it.
I don't understand how it could amount to a thousand pound a day, sounds rather a lot. |

Means testing costs a fortune and is usually found to be more expensive to tax payers than not means testing some types of benefits.

that's not disability benefit that's only £100 a week...this is s a personal nruse and driver every day? paid for by US? this is always means tested, clearly they've made special arrangements for her simply because of who she is, which means the woman with £30 million is getting more government aid than the woman with nothing

Not all benefits are means tested.

I thought there now was an upper earning limit on child benefits, introduced recently.
