I know it's been touched on before. The man just seemed unable to control himself whilst acting very manic and out of touch with what was going on around him. I know he is an insanely irritating person and still needs to take responsibility but I am actually worried about his psychological health.

I really think the BB house whether CBB or BB, can do strange things to anyones minds and usual thinking.
I genuinely believe it must be a relief, especially now with more and more BB interference in the series, when people get out and back to some normality. Last edited by joeysteele; 04-02-2015 at 11:51 PM. |

When they played back his bits I was just comparing how he looked when he entered to how he looked sitting there tonight. Tonight he still had his signature beaming smile and too chatty nature, but he looks different somehow.
He looked twinkly and full of life at the start and lately I think he looks a bit sunken under the eyes, his skin looks a little dull, unshaven a lot of the time, and sometimes his smiles really seem like they are just a front instead of when they looked more genuine. He just looks DRAINED. (I know he completely drains other housemates too.) The lack of sleep he had for 3 weeks could have been having a big effect on his emotional state and behaviour too. |

Yes, Mario is absolutely mentally ill. The moment that told you EVERYTHING you needed to know about Mario was when he went off on Katie Hopkins during that first challenge (for having sex in the field). Anyone that doesn't believe me, RE-WATCH that incident. He goes off on Katie for no reason and spews such hatred and bile it's insane. And when the others tell him he's out of line and he realizes what he's done, he cries like a baby. Watch the incident again. Look at his face. Mario is a disturbed and sick person. I wish nothing but the worst things in life for him. |

So true...I mean, think about it. We watched a group of adults go mental over a "stolen" banana. The same group of adults who probably wouldn't have give it a second mention if they were not in that house.

Luckily the US has no shortage of shrinks, as they like to call them over there!

He will be fine once he goes back to his normal life. He has everything : money, friends, family and a son he adores.

Actually to me he seemed manic from when he went in. And yes I would agree with Dollface that mental illness with the emphasis on illness should not be used as an insult. Being a feckless person is different and of course you can have both but sick and bad behavior shouldn't be grouped together. I don't think he was equipped for that environment to begin with.

Yes, it is harsh and it's because I hate him. And he's earned that hate. I had to start skipping forward when he would be on. His voice is like fingernails across a chalkboard. I can't stand his lisping and over-enunciating every single word. Just looking at him made me sick... his big stupid head that is too big and out of proportion to his oddly formed doughy little body. |

I think that he is mentally ill and needs help, but he will be fine once he is back to real life. I think he is in a very "manic phase" right now.

At the end it was very interesting how the housemates seemed to have divided into 2 groups where they were sitting. It was really obvious.

I do feel sorry for him and KH who also must have some sort of mental health issue. They are both as bad as each other.
Shame that the unstable make the best HM's.

If it was the house that did strange things to the housemates, they all acted less rationally that they likely would have outside the house.
Then that is the usual thing now that happens as to BB. We see it all the time with housemates in CBB and BB. If however,he has any mental issue, then mocking that and being so flippant about it is for me pretty low, I am sorry to say that too. Wishing bad things on people who may indeed may or may not be mentally ill, just because they have been a BB housemate amazes me. He stated, his wilder antics were a coping mechanism, people often have extremes they take on to cope with situations. He also said he had been sleep deprived, which is often a complaint from BB housemates. Like Vanessa said, he will be fine when he is around his own circle of friends, back home too with his son. Really sad to read such derision of mental illness however, no wonder those who do have it still feel stigmatised by it in the UK,when horrible things are wished for someone, that another deems has mental issues. I don't think he does, I think he has possibly a hyperactive personality which gets out of cntrol at times but that hpapening in the house for me was great entertainment and I guess most people who now go into BB, need some extreme of their make up to cope with being in there too. I actually think from leaving the house, he has been far calmer and even more interesting to listen to as well. I also admired him, that while Katie Hopkins was spewing her spite and bile about him on bbbots last night, he sat there silent. Only becomig more animated when Katie Price made her more dignified response the the nastiness of Katie Hopkins. I certainly couldn't,and would even say I doubt very many could, go into the BB house and not experience some drastic change to how we would act outside the house as situations arise in there. My guess is I would go absolutely crazy until I got out. It is sometimes bad enough just watching as to how I react to what goes on, never mind being in there and a full part of it. Very thought provoking post. Of course we only see the edited version as well, I am sure he had some quiet and very normal rational times in there. |
