I don't believe they told him to stay. Which Perez said and some fans are believing as gospel. However I believe he certainly wasn't that open to leave whenever and the producers at least persuaded him a hell of a lot to stay. The thing like the random secret walk-out and room twist was obvious of that (look at how makeshift that room was).

I still believe they got him staying in for the fee.

We know how dodgy C5 production has been, from Spedi to simple things like them trying to cover that Rylan was leaving the house for X Factor rehearsals. Lets not forget the amount of times we have seen pictures of the house with production team members in the background with housemates too.

I doubt C4 were any better but C5 do seem to have the ' no outside world contact' rule thrown completely out the window and they have been awful at covering everything up.

The producers aren't saying that didn't happen. Its just worded to sound like they are denying everything when all it actually says is, they didn't hold him against his will.

They didn't actually deny that they encouraged him to stay all they said was "perez's decision to stay is his decision" & they can "leave any time they want". That doesn't actually go against what he said

Their edit tried to convince us that Alexander calmly went to the diary room to ask to leave the house once, and straight away upon his first request they took him completely seriously and let him out straight away without time to sleep on it. However, Perez asks to leave a few times, sometimes even demanding a lawyer, yet they ignore his continued requests and just throw surprise secret rooms at him instead? Nonsense, there's clearly something very dodgy going on behind the scenes.

Apart from Alex, whose exit we are no clearer about, or those that have been ejected, BB have always tried their hardest to stop HMs from walking.
So nothing particularly special about Perez in this instance..apart from his own feeling of self importance.

Nothing would surprise me tbh, they wanted him to stay and why didnt they show us Alex in the DR, what happened there? We normally get some sort of idea and they try and convince HMs to stay. The trouble was P had been in there saying he was in fear of his life, he had a tantrum on the floor, and then he was put in the spare room. Very suspicious all of it.

Nadia and P are still sure that she was voted out because of him, I am sure that a lot of viewers are not as gullible as to do that. For me it was because she interfered too much in the running of the place. If she watches BOTS in the early days she will see that much was said then about her interfering. Also her hypocricy in supporting Perez after she had taken Ken down to the bottom of her pile and then called Police!! That was when I disliked her. Neither of them seem to be taking responsiblity for their own actions. Does that mean that Nadia is on the panel of LW, that is me out wont be watching the show. Didnt watch it all.......

What gets me is that Perez threatened to walk if Alexander wasn't kicked out.

Next thing we know Alexander has "walked" and the convo in the diary room not even aired to the public.

The producers obviously had a talk to him and thought it would be best for Alex to leave with im assuming a full pay cheque. It was one or the other and they chose Perez.

I agree with you. Perez imo was possibly was made to sign a "gagging clause"
possibly why Ryland shut him down last night when he wanted to say something.

At the time Perez went to the chill out room he looked very traumatised and I do believe he wanted to leave at this point. Possibly he was talked down because he was a pivotal player in the show. Maybe even offered a bonus as well, imo, to keep him in. Its obvious he was the CBB 15 all on his own. I'm glad Perez had the respite from the others he desperately needed.

That's what BB does EVERY TIME a HM says they want to walk. BB tries to convince them to stay. We have seen it for years in both Celeb and Civilian BB.

BB cannot FORCE a HM to stay. They are not the police.

Perez CHOSE to stay.

Why?

He needed the money. He admitted it himself in last night's show with James Jordan.
