Default IDS lying again...

'The Government’s controversial housing benefit reforms – dubbed the “bedroom tax” by Labour – have saved taxpayers around £1 billion, ministers claim.
Iain Duncan Smith, the Work and Pensions Secretary, said continuing to pay for properties with spare bedrooms would have cost the equivalent of £32 for every household in the country.
The bedroom tax has proved highly controversial since its introduction two years ago, with opposition politicians saying disabled people and the elderly have been hardest hit.'

What I bare faced liar this man is... just skip straight to the comments in the article and remember this is the Telegraph, IDS is fooling nobody any longer!

Statistics can be made to say whatever people want them to say Kizzy.
This man is just totally ignoring the people who are now in arrears who have never been before, those who are willing to move to a smaller property but as there are none cannot, however they still have to pay the bedroom charge.

Ian Duncan Smith wouldn't know the truth if it hit him right in the face.He should never have been given any power over peoples lives and incomes.

ian duncan smith has never got welfare right,if it was me I would restrict child benefit to at least two or three children, all these families that have ten to 15, children are taking the p;ss, more children they have the more they milk the system, bedroom tax is unfair, the nhs is falling apart, and we need to cut something down to save money,

I actually agree there, maybe that's a plan? it's been tossed around before so who knows.
It's nothing to do with this issue and his totally fabricated stats relating to bedroom tax however.

A lot of that statistic is bull**** as they probably accumulated a lot of that money from the Slave labour (Zero Hour Contract) and the constant cutting of the Military and the Police.
