Default Aaron wasn't even sorry

The first time he was in the diary room you could tell he wasn't sorry and it felt forced.

The only reason he cried was because he is a attention seeking fame ***** and he no longer will be on TV.

He was genuinely sorry to be removed that's why he said it 1000 times

I thought he seemed sorry and regretful that he let the alcohol get the better of him yet again.

I disagree with you here, I've disliked him for most of the series, was appalled at what he did and felt like he deserved an ejection but his apology was, in my head, incredibly genuine.

I donno, when he came back into the bedroom he genuinely looked pretty worried about what he had done and apologized straight away & kind of put a stop to people laughing about it. Whether this was a genuine apology or whether he was just worried about what his punishment would be then who knows.

....from the minute he was called to the diary room he knew he had over stepped the mark.....he was only sorry for himself and his possible demise.

OP, I find your double standards hilarious.

You slate Aaron for doing what he did, fair enough. But then you don't even bat an eyelid about the fact that your beloved Harriet Jackson was one of the few who laughed along and encouraged it. One prime example, being how she pushed Aaron onto Joel.

I wonder what you make of that?

..I think though that with something so serious as this, there would always be an aspect of being sorry for himself as well, as in disappointment with himself and the realisation that what he had meant in a 'joke' was not that at all, it had invaded someone's space and make them feel really uncomfortable so the thought with that will probably be something he hates with himself right now/for causing it all whether intended to our not..and also feeling sorry/disappointed in himself for his family/friends etc who he will probably feel he has let down...that doesn't mean though that he wasn't genuinely sorry for everything because I think that he was just absorbing a 'crazy moment of fun', which of course wasn't for Joel at all....and seeing it more clearly without the alcohol haze...

He isn't remorseful at all for what he did. First thing he does is go home, jump on twitter and retweet someone saying they think Joel is just homophobic.

He was upset because he got kicked off television and will look like a twat.

He wasn't sorry when he first got pulled in for it and then the apology to Joel and the room was fake, only when he knew he was defo getting the boot did the real apology come, even then he was just sorry he'd screwed up.

You keep bringing this up at I've told you many times I found her behaviour disgusting so your attempts to wind me up are failing

It was all total Homophobia.

It was not like he was gonna rape the guy. everyone was laughing there was no "sinister" atmosphere.

Hysterical over reaction for a spot on the DM's showbiz section. Pathetic

It was clear Aaron would have stopped after a warning

As a female - I could hack that if a bloke did that to me in a room full of cameras with loads of people around....obviously nothing sinister is going to happen.

The lot of you just didnt like Aaron or are homophobic.

shock/shame does not provoke tears. look up anthropological reasons for crying.

Let’s face it, women cry more than men. But it’s not just that society says it’s more acceptable for women to cry, there are actually biological reasons that make women more likely to tear up.

Scientists who study emotional reactions like crying have found that women have much smaller tear ducts than men. Both sexes may have a strong reaction to something - but men’s tear ducts are so big that the liquid stays put and eventually drains away. In women the tears quickly overwhelm the duct and spill out down her cheeks.

Hormones also play a big role in tear production. When men and women experience sadness or pain, the emotional part of the brain fires up. And when the emotional reaction hits a certain point, the tears start flowing.

However, studies have found that testosterone buffers that reaction and increases the threshold between getting mad or sad and actually crying. Men have more testosterone than women, which means the line between getting emotional and crying is a lot wider. But since men tend to lose testosterone as they age, they’re more likely to cry as they get older.

I feel that I would have reacted like Joel out of shock and embarrassment. I feel so bad for him. It makes me think of Sue Hawk on Survivor in the All Stars season. She was put in a similar situation that Joel was when Richard Hatch got naked during a challenge and she was forced to squeeze by him on that beam. She ended up leaving the show and stated so clearly how it made her feel... violated. Richard didn't intend to make her feel that way either but that still was the outcome. It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.
