Default Are you less critical of Music?

Or more critical of Music as you've got older, or stayed the same? I feel like I'm going soft, most of the chart Music is okay at the minute (apart from Justin Bieber) and even then his not released his ****test single with that Jack U guy either.

And even on The Voice USA where there's usually a load of **** around, only really had Joshua that was terrible in the last series.

Someone help me get my bitch mode back on.

The question has been asked anyway, how are yall feeling?

I've not listened to the radio since I was 12 (in 2003). I wasn't a big fan of music back then really, and it wasn't until I started listening to oldies stuff that I really developed any interest in it. I don't feel like I've gotten any more or less critical since then though. I think popular modern music continues to get worse and worse and I thought it was as bad as it was gonna get 12 years ago. I still listen to quite a lot of modern music, just not the stuff on the mainstream radio stations, so it's not all bad but in terms of what's pushed to the general audience, it's fecking terrible. When I'm forced to hear it I kind of want to kill myself. I don't care if something's popular or mainstream or obscure or whatever, if I like it I like it and I will listen to it, but I've not heard anything on a mainstream radio station in 12 years that I've liked.

I'm not one for saying "ALL MAINSTREAM MUSIC THESE DAYS IS ****E" I will listen to what I find most interesting to my taste. If it's popular, so be it.

I'm hardly ever critical of music, it's more of a case of 'erm why on earth do people like this so much' like that new house every weekend song or whatever it is, then I move on with my life.

I'm very picky listener in music, especially as the years go by.
I can count on two hands the new songs I've heard and really liked over the past year, and it's even narrowed down when it comes to songs released during the last year itself. My playlist is currently dying a slow and painful death.
I'd like to think the music does get worse as time goes by and it's not all the fault of my "delicate" taste

No I'm more, I don't like radio 1 and capital now the playlist is so limited and just repeated on a loop it seems the DJs don't seem to have the freedom to play anything they enjoy anymore :/

I'm open to anything, which is probably for the best as I don't think a kpop fan being critical of someone else's music taste would go down well.

I like K-Pop and J-Rock.

Tbf you're not actually liking something that is **** on a technical level, I imagine that there's a lot of vocal talent in that genre like there is with all Music genres.
