Big Brother will return to Channel 5, for the seventeenth series (S17), the run will last a consolidated amount of 85 days making it a pretty long run than BB has ever set before. The show will debut it's recurring launch night on Thursday 2nd June 2016 in a 90 minute edition. The series would then draw to a close in the final on 24th August 2016. Although this is a very long series, Big Brother has many surprises in store to make it a far from enjoyable stay in the UK's well known house.

The series will have 18 housemates enter.

Nominations: All housemates will take part in the normal nomination process at the same time, same day every week. However, in a first for the show, housemates will be allowed to have a "wildcard" this can be of use at any time in the house, whether male/female they can choose their usual 2 and then replace if they feel like with a brief visit to the diary room. This may cause more tension in the house and will sure "ruffle a few feathers", more details on this and the repercussions for the housemates will be told later on.

They will begin at 11am every Saturday and remember "Big Brother can change anything at any point"

Summer Holiday Theming:

This year, Big Brother is messing with the housemates minds, all that they know will be turned on its head. The theme from BB7 will come into play again with the inside/out feel but even though at first glance, the housemates will feel they are in a "glam-sham" apartment when they enter, the hot décor they face will be the opposite "cold" and much more will come to a head further on. Everywhere they go, they will have no idea that their new home for the next 2 1/2 months is not what it turns out to be.

If a housemate does not think they can live like they are, they can leave but this is with the risk of having a fraction of the £150,000 prize fund taken away.

I downloaded sketchup last night and I don't know how to make a house from scratch, I want them to be as good as yours but it seems so hard.

The eye has a prison feel, there is a warm feel to it also with the black, yellow and orange present in the pupil. This also looks minimalist but also still preserves the theme surrounding the 17th series. I have decided to call it 'Mind Teaser'. The white lines are like a dungeon and the pupil still has a streak of red to suggest there is some kind of danger possible in the house.
