2015 is in contention for one of the best series of all time, whenever I watch clips back it really has aged so well. It also has the best running gag of all time too

Last year's is still the worst, avoid at all costs. This series was okay but nothing special. 2010 was iconic for Gillian but the production in the final is a MESS and there were decent parts of 2012-2014 but they all end so terribly that I'd never recommend them (that said, you'd probably like the winners so)

Honestly, the older series are probably the best ones but I don't even know if they still exist anywhere

The one with Kian will always be the worst

WOW do I detect shade or what

and yeah I think last time I checked the earliest I could find was IAC7? Which is sad bc I would die to see the origins of The Katie Price Experience.

I lived for Matthew's trolling (especially of Alfonso) that year

Last year's kumbaya camp was DIRE, if it weren't for Martin I don't think I'd remember a single thing

Honestly wasn't intended I just mean that they really don't bring anything to their series so the endings are poor for me but they're all perfectly likeable as people so I'm sure you'll see it differently, and one of them in paticular is worshipped on here for some unknown reason

The cast was great in terms of names but in all honesty, it was just another series with everyone sat around the fire singing kumbaya. This show's become so dry over the last few years with each series following the same formula.

Overall, I'd still say it was better than the last two series but if you ever plan on getting into the show then you can't go wrong with series 7-10 or 12.

Hmmm okay, I saw lots of people RAVING about how refreshing this series is but then a few people also said it was a love fest with no ~drama~

I don't even know what would constitute as drama in IAC since the show is just like... you do a trial and then eat food at camp?

The series with drama they tend to show camp life a lot more therefore presenting the cast's personalities better. With blander casts they rely more on the trials and gimmicks for entertainment.

The best example of drama I can think of is last year when
Spoiler:

Amir and Iain ate the Strawberries and Cream without telling the other campmates and all **** kicked off and Iain got the entire blame

if you want another example of drama, just YouTube "Lady C I'm a Celeb"

I think this series will be perfect for a first-timer. There's very little drama so if you want something "exciting" you'll probably be relying on the trials, and the trials this year were great (although similar to previous years but that's about to happen after eighteen series) so you'd enjoy the trials since they're nothing you've seen before

Yeah, the last couple series seemed so challenge-focused where they all get along and work together, meaning they win more food/treats and there's less tension in a camp as a result of them not being as hungry.

The older series all benefited from having an entertaining serial trialist that wasn't really good at the trials alongside personalities that clashed in camp.

Series 14 with Jimmy Bullard, Jake Quickenden and Kendra was pretty good and had drama.

and of course series 15 with Lady C was the last Drama filled series. since then it's become the get along gang.
