There's not I can do really, my desk and wardrobe is fitted,

It's stands in the place where I could move stuff around and put my bed where the wardrobe/desk is:

image upload

I've had it decorated quite a lot, new wallpaper and new lights.

I could move my bed into the bay window but then I wouldn't be able to see my TV.

My bedroom is U-shaped so it's very difficult to move things around without it looking messy. I've just recently moved my bed to the opposite side of the room though (lol)

No, I have it just as I like it, I can fall out of bed and 4 steps later I am on the loo, don't even have to open my eyes in the middle of the night.
I do however change my bedding schemes three times a year, summer set, Autumn set and Winter set..rings the changes nicely.

Used to do it a lot and my living room even more but can't do it in either room now due to the size of my sofas and then the amount of furniture in my bedroom
