Before Comic Con this film was known as 'The Woods' but they had a showing of it at the convention and revealed the fact that it was actually a Blair Witch Project sequel. The buzz from the showing was pretty good I hear but I don't think I like that they're doing away with the ambiguity of the original film. It looks good, and I like the allusions to the original. I hadn't heard about this but I'm kinda perched for a direct sequel (I never saw Book of Shadows).

This looks pretty decent, but I just hope it's not heavily reliant on jump scares, like most modern horror films. The original was great so it has a lot to live up to
