Default How much do they know?

I realise the point of Big Brother is for 'normal people to live with no contact with the outside world' but these people aren't normal, and I question how much they know?

When they entered that house on the 7th June, David Cameron was Prime Minister, Britain was in the EU and Portugal hadn't won the EUROs.

There's been a lot happen during the housemates time in the house; should they deserve to know?? They were told about the death of Michael Jackson in 2009- is there stuff that BB should have told the housemates?

What is a David Cameron? Is a referendum some kind of Portuguese food?

They should have been given the chance to raise a glass to Caroline Aherne ...I'm sure each one of them would have loved her.

I realise this would be a number of peoples response, But Andy was a Journo for the BBC and there are others in the house, who would probably be interested to know the major change of circumstances the country has seen this summer.
Im sure Andy- if no one else- would have voted in the referendum...?

There was this time when Andy moaned in the DR about having zero interest in current affairs amongst the other housemates. Even if they know, I don't think they really care what it all means.

They were only found out about Michael Jackson because when people came in for the 10th series/birthday task or whatever it was, somebody told them when they shouldn't have
