Story from today's Online Sun:
ALI G and SHAGGY tried to smoke the leaves of a tree that had been put in the artist’s area by an environmental group. A source said: “The tree was only brought in as a symbol but they obviously thought they could get high from it.” The pair performed a duet of their new track, Me Julie. The spoof rapper was surrounded by real pole dancers, including Big Brother’s AMMA. The beauty, who had vowed to quit pole dancing, said: “I was pleased he wanted me.” Hmmmm ............ I know it's TV exposure for her, but I'm sure Amma could do much better than this. |

A colleague told me about this and I thought it sounded like it could be a laugh. Most people, including myself felt Amma was far too serious in the house, so doing something like this shows she does have a sense of humour.
Even for a spoof item, being asked to dance at the Brits is quite an honour and I was impressed, but I suppose it depends how it's actually presented. I'll watch tonight and make up my mind then. |

Ok, I've just watched it and I assume the girl on the left was Amma but if I didn't already know, I'd never have thought anything of it. I certainly wouldn't have recognised her!
Good song though, Ali G is incredible |

Me neither, but I think she might have been one of the people up the back dancing behind the baking paper type stuff. There were sillouettes of what looked to me like ladies dancing on poles, so I suppose she'd be one of them. The actual dance routine looked quite tricky, so I'd guess they were professional dancers.
Davina mentioned it thismorning on Capital Radio, but I got the impression she only heard about it, but didn't notice herself either. |
