Cute of them to air the full titles though. Must be the first time in about 10 seasons?

This twist IS the most blatant manipulation ever. It improved Ben's chances of winning a million times over. Just a joke. It's not so much a 'twist' as a total remodelling of the format to influence the game.
lol at it being an 'advantage' as well, and them cutting the first scene Chrissy is reading it. She was probably cussing the **** out of the Survivor producers. |

I've not actually watched the FTC yet but I'm gonna get my FINAL write up done
Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers: I really love this cast. Full to the brim of likeable and entertaining people. The premerge and first few episodes of the merge were fantastic. However, the Healers getting picked off was TRAGIC, as was the failure to get Ben out. I literally could have gotten past the Healers getting picked off if Chrissy/Devon/Mike were the F3 but the rigging really soured the ending. The gameplay really did become gripping from the JP blindside - especially Lauren's vote off. HOWEVER, it didn't work out, cos Ben kept surviving. I agree with MB. HHH is a problematic return to form. They MUST reign the idols and advantages in (but they won't), and they certainly need to get rid of the F4 twist. Peridiam pointed out in his review of the twist that it basically pushes the real final vote off back to F5 when it SHOULD be F3. It's just really manipulative. Jessica Chrissy Devon Cole Joe Mike Desi Ashley Lauren Simone Ali Roark Katrina Patrick Alan JP Ryan Ben So yeah, insanely likeable cast. The top 5 legends truly are interchangeable People like Jessica, Cole and Chrissy were so down to earth and likeable, and then it's nice to have some truly original characters like Lauren. Just a shame the worst person in the cast won. He was such an ass when in power and it made it worse that it was rigged for him. #STOPTHEIMMUNITYTRAIN |

The time has come for me to rank all 35 seasons! Hopefully the ranking gets better as it goes on, I'm kinda feeling it out at the moment. But here goes!
35. One World
Star of the Show: Bill. A beautiful robbed soul. Honourable mention: Christina Cha. Because they’re WRONG, okay?: Alicia Rosa and Colton Cumbie, I’ll see y’all in hell. Highlight: One World doesn’t have one. Lowlight: Colton’s blatant racism towards Bill at the Episode 4 Tribal Council, and Colton succeeding at getting Bill out at this moment is genuinely one of the most dissatisfying moments in Survivor history. One World is the only season I failed to complete. After slogging through its first eight episodes, I decided enough was enough, turned my back on this ****show and never return. Honestly, this season righteously places at the bottom of the pack. The first eight episodes comprises a deathly mix of uneventful episodes, some of the most nasty, joyless moments of the entire franchise, such as Alicia and Colton’s bullying of Christina and Bill respectively, and a wholly bland, and in places vile cast. 34. Redemption Island Star of the Show: Sarita. She clocked Steph, and she was the only actually entertaining member of Zapatera. Honourable mentions: Julie and Andrea. Julie did so well at FTC, and I can’t help but howl at Philip and her exchange: To hell with you! Bye bitch: Russell Hantz. Needs no explanation. So bloody satisfying him getting his comeuppance. Highlight: Probably Russell losing at his duel? Also, Ashley and Philip’s exchange at FTC is a howl. Lowlight: The moments that engendered genuine anger, were Sarita’s vote off, which was the kiss of death for the season, Redemption Island twist restarting in Episode 8, and Natalie refusing to flip on Rob, and Ashley getting voted off for trying to come up with one of the best moves of the season. This season just sucks the life out of you. I do quite rate the first few episodes, as Fran, Kristina and Philip (before he turns awful) are at the forefront, and Russell gloriously is made a second boot but as the likeable people get voted off, and Rob and his puppets take control, the series grows painful. Honestly, this series is incredibly dull, predictable, and the cast is one of the most one dimensional in the franchise. The one thing that sets it above OW, is that there were some people I could invest in, which OW didn’t have. 33. Thailand Star of the Show: Helen Glover. A top-tier Survivor character. Wonderfully complex and rootable. She was also wonderful at FTC. Honourable mentions: Jan Gentry and Shii Ann. Neither are amazing though by any means. So glad Shii Ann got the chance to return and show what she was really made of. Two Bs man, get off my TV man: Robb. SO irritating and unforgivably came for our Shii. Highlight: I HONESTLY struggle to think of one for Thailand. Probably Helen’s final words: ‘break a leg…literally.’ Lowlight: Fake merge. Shii Ann’s vote-off was painful. While there’s nothing too offensive going on in Thailand (if we ignore #Grindgate), it’s just an unfortunate example of a classic era season not coming together. The cast of Thailand is a real dud. It’s really hard to find anyone to really root for, and nothing of note seems to happen? Also, Brian and Clay are kinda handed their spots at FTC, which ain’t fun to watch. 32. All-Stars Star of the show: Shii Ann. She really came into her own this time, just a shame she was pitted against such an awful majority alliance. Honourable mentions: Jerri. She was treated so poorly once again. Ugh: Alicia. I LOVED her in AO, but she was a nasty cocky bitch this time to anyone in the minority: mainly Shii Ann. Her reaction to Shii Ann’s victory is simply irritating, Highlight: Shii Ann’s immunity win. Lowlight: Let’s be real, AS is FULL of low-points. From Sue’s quit, to Jerry’s vote off, to that nasty dirty FTC. This season just didn’t work. Similarly to the Redemption Island and Thailand seasons below, the best ones go first, and the winner/runner-up sail to the end. It’s also sprinkled with nasty moments which just aren’t fun, and outside that it’s simply dull. 31. South Pacific Star of the Show: Edna. Honestly, Edna’s not even that great. She’s the best here though. Honourable mentions: Stacey. Who disgusts me?: Keith. A combination of dull and nasty just doesn’t work. Highlight: Stacey’s rant against Coach at RI. Boop! Or Cochran’s flip. Lowlight: It’s probably the religion stuff? Like Coach praying the idol is found when he has it in his pocket is kind of grimy and odd in equal measures. To be honest, it will be very hard for a season that features Redemption Island to not be near the bottom. It works as poorly in South Pacific as it did in Redemption Island. Ozzy sending himself to RI and his awful roleplay is fun, but generally, I don’t find the castaways here to be that likeable. Maybe I’m being a little harsh ranking SoPa so low. It certainly has more going for it than the preceding four seasons I’ve mentioned, but the combination of the lack of players to root for, as well as the Pagonging, and the Redemption Island twist, it all just feels a bit lacklustre in the end. Idk, I think One World is underrated on here which is surprising... it wasn't THAT bad at all. The women Mafia were actually pretty messy & funny enough (as were the guys really) to make it an enjoyable pagonging.
Totally agree with you on Bill / on that TC though.

Also I preferred Shii Ann in Thailand over All Stars but if I remember correctly she was good/great in both. However in Thailand she was practically the only bright spot of that season along with Robb(? I think that's his name).

yeah Ben would work a lot better as a character if he didn't win. I don't really get the hate for him other than str8 male who won under sketchy conditions, but... he is without a doubt Not A Good Winner objectively speaking alol. He's a complex and unique character who DEFINITELY inspires great reactions out of others, but he also believes his own hype when he was actually incompetent and that's kinda frustrating to watch.
Also South Pacific is *underrated*

I'm REALLY torn about whether I put SoPa too low... like there's so many variables to consider, and if I was in a different mood maybe it could be 5 places higher? Idk

Okay, here's the completed Bottom 10! I'm a bit unsure of my placements of 31-26, but I AM sure that these are my definitive bottom 10. It's the 'not-so-good' tier.
30. Game Changers
Star of the Show: Andrea. Such a lovely, gracious woman. Honourable mentions: Cirie, and Aubry. Why haven’t you told anyone you suck?: Varner AND Zeke. Obviously there was a clear person in the wrong in THAT incident. Jeff WAS awful. However, I forgot about the incident pretty quickly as Zeke is just so arrogant in this gamebotty season. Highlight: Probably Debbie winning a chat with Cochran? That was good fun. Also her hilarious fight with Culpepper. Lowlight: Looking beyond the Varner incident, Cirie’s autoboot was genuinely terrible. This is one of the most vapid seasons the show has ever produced. It’s all about the game, and it makes for very dry viewing. The final four is genuinely one of the least likeable ever. The only thing that saves this season somewhat is the fact we get to see Andrea/Cirie/Aubry/Sandra/Michaela/Tony/Debbie/Tai/Hali again. It just sucks there’s like no character development for any of them. 29. Millennials vs Gen-X Star of the Show: Jay. Loved the guy. Honourable mentions: Jessica – who is by NO means bland! Robbed goddess. And Michaela. Don’t wear your buff like that: David. Honestly, David sucks, and it perplexes me people on Reddit for example actually want him to play again? He’s very much a Cochran archetype, and I just don’t find those types fun to watch. Highlight: Jay and Michaela’s exchange during her blindside. So evil! Lowlight: Good characters like Lucy, Michaela and Jessica going out before their time. MvGX is the precursor to gamebotty GC. The cast here is truly bland for the most part, and I really struggled to root for people. Also, just like with GC, there are far too many twists/idols/advantages which muddle the game. It is littered with a few stand-out moments, but when the main one is one of your favourites getting blindsided, you know the season ain’t great. 28. Caramoan Star of the Show: Sherri. It sounds funny calling Sherri a ‘star’ lmao but she seemed like a genuinely sweet woman and her putting Erik down at FTC was iconic. Honourable mentions: Malcolm, Eddie, Brenda and Corinne are all good in this season. A WOAT winner: Cochran. Highlight: Probably ‘Hold up Bro’? Lowlight: Brandon going crazy, or ‘teeth’. Not much goes on in this season. The Favourites are terrible choices in places, and the Fans are terrible choices for the most part. Idk what else to say about Caramoan. It’s entertaining to watch from a distance, but in terms of rootable characters and storylines, there’s NOTHING here. Also the Final 3, in fact Final 5 of this season are pretty pathetic. 27. Cook Islands Star of the Show: Brad. He was top of my rankings when I watched. He’s actually really unmemorable, but he was a nice enough guy, and in a season as vanilla as CI, that’s all it takes to get to the top. Honourable mentions: Becky (UTR queen), Ozzy (his best outing) and Cristina (underdog <3). It’s Raro to find someone so loathsome: Adam Gentry. Prick, and leader of the Raro trio, which I despised this season. They made me love the Aitu Four!! Highlight: The Mutiny was compelling. And ‘I love you’ by Billy. Lowlight: The Cao-Boi/Cristina double hit. Two robbed legends. I liked Cook Islands for the redemption of the Aitu Four, but in reality, it’s so contrived, with the bottle twist n all that, but the Aitu Four themselves are just so vanilla that in reality, it’s not that investable as a storyline. The whole Jonathan flipping saga is a good watch, but overall, the editing here is really weird, and you come out of CI really not caring for that many people and wondering what the hell happened. So although I enjoyed it, I’m not very inclined to re-watch at all. Oh also, the F3 sucks! 26. Fiji Star of the Show: Yau-Man. The original, and better, Tai. A truly original Survivor character. Honourable mentions: Earl, Michelle, Sylvia. I’m Fiji-ing a lot of anger towards this player: Rocky. His treatment of Anthony was awful. One of the most horrible castaways ever IMO. Rounding out the final ten is Fiji. This season does have some iconic moments, such as the car deal, and Edgardo’s blindside, and it is generally very watchable after the first few episodes. Some great heroes and villains; Dreamz, Yau-Man, Lisi, Rocky, like them or not are HUGE characters, something which CI simply failed on. However, it does feel a little too dark and imbalanced. Vast proportions of the cast are invisible or just not very nice. These are people you enjoy watching but would NEVER want to meet. Oh, one last thing: I can’t name a more iconic duo than Cassandra and her water shoes. |

ew Brenda was not good in Caramoan.
and honestly as weird as it sounds I think my biggest Thing about Fiji that makes it tough to watch is that it is such an ugly season when it comes to setting and scenery and aesthetics.

I LOVED David MvGx. I guess he's basically the Cochran archetype but he had more charisma than Cochran (IMO) and he was less of a total stereotype. Very entertaining, likable and a solid player all in all.
Oh, but glad you saw the Jay greatness.

25. Tocantins
Star of the Show: Sierra. A bullied queen, who clocked Coach and Tyson. Honourable mentions: Taj and Debbie (I AM TOO OLD FOR THIS <3). Fix that bloody haircut: Coach Wade. I really couldn’t stand him in Tocantins. Highlight: Sierra’s iconic fight with Debbie and Coach. Lowlight: Probably Sierra’s vote-off. In general, I find Tocantins to be one of the most middle-of-the-road seasons ever. For some reason it just didn’t work for me. It evoked no strong emotion in me. It’s all merely watchable, but the season never peaks, and I honestly don’t remember much. I willed Sierra to go far, but it was never gonna happen. I was also disappointed the Secret Exile Alliance never came to fruition. And whilst I have no problem with JT, Stephen and Taj, they’re no where near all-time faves. 24. Vanuatu Star of the Show: Eliza. Clocking Twila earns my respect. Honourable mentions: Scout & Julie. I’m Lea-ning towards disliking you: Sarg. Highlight: Twila’s heartwrenching final speech at FTC. Lowlight: Probably how nasty Twila and Scout were to Eliza in an altercation toward the end. It really annoyed me. Even though I didn’t enjoy this season that much on first watch, I’m very inclined to re-watch. It feels like I should have enjoyed this season WAY more than I did. It was sprinkled with good moments, from the girls clashing in the early episodes, to Crazy Rory, to blindsides, to probably one of the most emotional FTCs ever. I just didn’t LIKE the cast that much. Honestly, I didn’t even LIKE Eliza that much, she was just the lesser of all evils. People like her and Twila were wonderfully complex characters though. I guess Vanuatu’s cast just didn’t click for me. 23. Samoa Star of the Show: Natalie W. I literally remember barely anything of her now, but she was a decent gal, I’m stunned at how good her move at F12 was, and having Russell in your pocket for the whole season when he believes it to be vice-versa is commendable. Honourable mentions: Liz and Brett – yes, Brett. He seemed like SUCH a nice, humble guy during his 90 seconds of screentime. Racist trash: Ben. Highlight: Probably Kelly’s blindside. Lowlight: Realising how terrible the final 5 were. This is Russell’s least bad season. And it makes sense to start with him, as it’s all about Russell. I was so perplexed when the ‘previously’ segment in Episode 2 was literally explaining Russell’s gameplan. It was just bizarre. I really rate this cast, I just wish we’d seen more of it. I really wish we’d seen more of Kelly, Brett, John, Liz etc. Even Mick who made it to FTC was SO underdeveloped. This cast is so colourful, and the season has a great cast, with some good moments, but the editing’s atrocious. 22. Nicaragua Star of the Show: Brenda. I loved her in Nicaragua. Jane was top when I did my original rankings, but idk what I was thinking? I LOVE Marty, and her voting confessional about how she wouldn’t let her children near him was disgusting. Honourable mentions: Holly and Marty. Jane, Naonka are fun too. Purple Kelly deserved more airtime. I liked Sash too. I’m gonna get this out the way, are you a bottom 10 player dude?: Shannon. Highlight: Holly throwing Dan’s shoes in the sea, and Marty and Jane’s rivalry. Also Naonka moments which involved Kelly B’s leg. Lowlight: Probably the double quit. It was just such a letdown. Nicaragua is a good, fun season. The cast really shines in places. The premerge and postmerge are both watchable. I’m just not a huge fan of Nicaragua’s endgame, and it REALLY lacks standout moments. It is quite heavily riddled with unsavoury moments too. Oh, also the winner is really awful. 21. Cambodia - Second Chance Star of the Show: Wentworth. Honestly, one of the most shocking returnee redemptions I’ve ever seen. She just totally slayed this season in every sense. Honourable mentions: Abi-Maria (another who glowed up in Cambodia), and Joe. Extremely blindside-able: Savage. What a prick! Highlight: Any strategic play by Kelley Wentworth. Oh, and Abi-Maria calling Fishbach poopy pants! Lowlight: Probably Joe fainting at a IC he could easily have won, sealing his fate. I thought this season was a bit sterile when I was watching it. Then Game Changers came along, and I realised that Cambodia oozes with character moments in comparison. This season is game-botty. I really enjoyed the pre-merge, and I feel the post-merge just got a bit much some times with the game, but the season had fun, as well as emotive moments, such as Vytas’ yoga, and Fishbach’s gastrointestinal distress. I really hate the endgame of this season though. Kimmi’s vote-off is ridiculous, and I just cannot stand the unholy trinity that make it to FTC. Ranking 35. One World 34. Redemption Island 33. Thailand 32. All-Stars 31. South Pacific 30. Game Changers 29. Millennials vs Gen-X 28. Caramoan 27. Cook Islands 26. Fiji 25. Tocantins 24. Vanuatu 23. Samoa 22. Nicaragua 21. Cambodia - Second Chance Remaining 1. Borneo 2. The Australian Outback 3. Africa 4. Marquesas 6. The Amazon 7. Pearl Islands 10. Palau 11. Guatemala 12. Panama - Exile Island 15. China 16. Micronesia - Fans vs Favourites 17. Gabon 20. Heroes vs Villains 25. Phillippines 27. Blood vs Water 28. Cagayan 29. San Juan Del Sur 30. Worlds Apart 32. Kaoh Rong 35.
