With All4, Channel 4 and More4 you will never miss a moment’s action of the 2016 Paralympic Games. Following the success of London 2012, the home of extensive coverage which has been increased to a massive 15 hours per day, running from 6am-1am across all platforms. Adam Hills will return with The Last Leg: Live from Rio, as well as the addition of a new Paralympics 2016: Highlights with Clare Balding programme, bringing you all the action of the best bits of action.

Paralympics Breakfast

The short digital highlights show is where viewers can catch up on the previous day’s action. Whether it’s when you’re getting up and ready for the day ahead, when you arrive home, or if you need a sneaky Paralympic fix at work, the highlights will all be available on All4.

Paralympics 2016

From 9am-11am you will be able to catch up on all things Paralympics in a repeat show on More4.

Paralympics 2016 Live

From 1pm-7pm every day Paralympics 2016 Live will be hosted by Ade Adepitan and Arthur Williams and later taken over by Sophie Morgan and JJ Chalmers presenting from our fabulous studio in the heart of Olympic Park. The morning and afternoon sessions and medals in swimming, cycling, wheelchair basketball, Judo, Powerlifting and Table Tennis, to name a few, will all be available to watch on Channel 4 between 1pm-6pm, then More4 from 6pm-7pm.

Paralympics 2016: Highlights with Clare Balding

Clare Balding will be on hand from 7.30-8pm for the Paralympic highlights show, reflecting on the day’s sporting action so far. This peak time programme will give you the perfect chance to relax and enjoy the days’ medal winning action and stories from around the games.

The Last Leg: Live from Rio

The Last Leg returns to Channel 4 with host Adam Hills joined by Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe to complete the trio who will bring us their unique take on the games in front of a live studio audience at the Olympic Park in Rio from 8pm-9pm. This no holds barred show will be graced by athletes and stars to talk about the Games. Nothing is off the table.

Paralympics 2016 Live

Clare Balding will be presenting live from around the Olympic Park and key venues like the Aquatics Stadium and Velodrome from 9pm-1am every day. The evening sessions are sure to be packed with breathless Gold medal action. Jonathan Edwards will be in the Olympic Stadium where hopes are high for Great Britain and Northern Ireland’s track and field athletes. Each night will be themed around a different Superhuman, engaging the viewer and building towards a big final or Gold Medal contest.


Reporters, Commentators and Analysts

The presenting team will be joined by some new faces as well as established Channel 4 names and a Hollywood star! Breaking Bad actor RJ Mitte, who has cerebral palsy, will be sampling the atmosphere at his first Paralympic Games. Channel 4 F1’s Lee McKenzie swaps the paddock for Rio where she takes on the role of roving reporter. Caroline de Moraes, who is half-Brazilian will also be reporting at the games. Former Paralympic swimmer Rachael Latham will be poolside at the Aquatics Centre, posing questions to the swimmers with the vastly experienced Sonja McLaughlin doing likewise at the athletics. Rishi Persad, 2012 GB Wheelchair Rugby captain Steve Brown, former sitting volleyball player Martine Wright and Winter Paralympian Sean Rose complete the line-up. Channel 4 News reporter Jordan Jarrett-Bryan will also be in Rio and Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Frank Gardner will help guide viewers through the Opening Ceremony.

A hugely experienced commentary and analysis team will include John Rawling, Rob Walker and Katharine Merry at the Athletics, alongside current ParalympicsGB team member Stef Reid and former Paralympians Danny Crates and Sophia Warner. Paul Noble and Giles Long will commentate on the swimming with Liz Johnson and Mark Woods providing analysis. Simon Brotherton and Neil Smith will be in the Velodrome, Ronald McIntosh and Dan Johnson at the Wheelchair Basketball; Bob Ballard and ‘the Quadfather’ Peter Norfolk at the Wheelchair Tennis and Don Parker at the Table Tennis.

Rio Digital/Social/All4

The new Bespoke digital service allows you to choose which live sport you want to watch with over 600 hours of live streaming as well as containing all information regarding sport and event data, schedule information, event start times, athlete profiles, results, records and medals – all at just the click of a button! Not-to-miss moments will be shared on 4’s social channels, with clips and results being posted on Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat, along with every GB medal being celebrated via our GB glory page.

The digital breakfast show will also ensure all moments are accessible by providing all the updates from the previous night’s sport, allowing easy catch-up on late night finals that suffer from the time zone.

Very much looking forward to The Last Leg back in its original guise, although I do hope the 8pm time slot doesn't mean it has to be watered down

And Clare's back in primetime once again so what's not to love plus Rishi Persad, Lee McKenzie, Jonathan Edwards, Simon Brotherton, Ronald McIntosh and Bob Ballard all worked on the Olympics so it'll be like they never left yay

Not being nasty but i could care less about this, sorry but i find all the enthusiasm a little fake and unpalatable (on telly not individually)
