moaning about another paper was going to Out him.

Of course he must say he has NO sex
or he would get sacked

It's ridiculous that this is still a 'threat'. He needs to name and shame the paper that was threatening him.

If you want to be outraged be outraged at the ridiculous cult that employs him and their stupid rules
It says he's in a "celibate relationship" so he hasn't broken any rules. His sexuality should have remained private unless felt comfortable sharing it. That's why people have a problem with a newspaper threatening to out him

I think it's good that he's out. There are a lot of gay Christians who will be heartened by having a gay bishop. It's a step toward people taking other people's sexuality as being their own business. If the C of E thinks he was the best man to become a bishop, that's all that anyone needs to know.

Well if the story that a paper was going to do that (and a far as I am aware that is an unsubstantiated rumor) they probably thought he was breaking the COE rules and so it was a story
