He looks a bit scruffy and isn't very attractive, and no one knows him, BUT every UK celeb involved in this show does. He is clearly popular around the scene, and when you don't have the look there has to be a reason for that.

I think he may be a dark horse. Now, not calling him to win or anything, but I suspect that he will surprise many.

Vesavius, I think you could be right and your reasoning is good! I get the same impression too, although I know nothing about him. For some reason, I think he is going to bring some humour so am interested to see how he develops!
