Am I right in thinking those numbers don't add up at all and a hell of a lot of MPs just didn't ****ing bother going? I really do think they should be removed from their positions if they can't be arsed to show up for votes and stuff.
1 Tory sacked tomorrow?

All a mess...surely Cameron knew all of this already. I wonder if this is why he ****ed off to leave someone else to deal with his issues. Spineless prick.

I would think it was Ken Clarke, unless he abstained.

I'm confused, why did they have the vote before the release of the white paper, what if there something in it that would sway MPs?

I think that was pretty obvious as soon as the result was in . He did NOT expect an "out" result and his reaction was, effectively, "Oh ****! LOL! Err, tell the staff to pack our bags Sam! We must flee!"

It was always going to be the result. Imagine if we'd voted to remain in the EU and someone brought a court case forcing a parliamentary vote which might lead to us leaving.
Imagine if Scotland had voted to leave the UK and someone had brought a court case allowing parliament to overrule the referendum. Outrage would ensue... So all that happened in the end was that a lot of lawyers have ended up with taxpayers money for fighting a futile court case. |

Well I do have to point out in the interest of fairness that quite a lot of Scots voted to leave too so not quite representing all of the people who voted for them. There were some Scottish constituencies that had a majority leave vote, mostly the fishing communities who have suffered so much from the common fisheries policy over the years. So in fact their MP must have voted against them.

I think he will be remembered in history as the PM who gave a vote on a major change without any back up plan for the change. What was he thinking? Total tool basically.

Diane Abbott threw a sicky for the vote saying she had a migraine but then was seen down the road involved in a debate apparently.

Edited to add:that i think winning the GE made him over confident and complacent that whatever the Tories position was the public would follow suit. Edited again to add:I think a big part of the leave result was down to Cameron coming back from his tour of Europe with his tail between his legs and getting next to nothing from them after saying he was going to reform the EU etc etc and get a better arrangement for Britain. Yeah she's probably planning her next attempt to put the brakes on Brexit as we speak. It kind of backfired on her.She got a vote in Parliament which did nothing for her cause.
