Default BBC Radio 4's Steve Hewlett reveals he has weeks left to live while on air

Quote:
BBC Radio 4's Steve Hewlett has revealed to listeners that he may have just weeks left to live after treatment for his cancer had to cease.

The 58-year-old presenter had been diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus and decided to marry his partner Rachel shortly after receiving the devastating news that his treatment could no longer continue.

The father-of-three had been receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy, but his follow-up treatment had to end because of problems with his liver.
