It's not really a laughing matter when people can't afford to eat, the article states a quote 'people should get used to higher food prices after brexit'... yeah, like we should just put up and shut up as it's 'what we wanted innit?'... foff!

Plus the whole effing thing is an advert for this muscle/offal website.... is everyone blind?...

I can second that, I used to work on the produce section and every time we did reductions we literally had to rope off a section for people to queue and have a security guard to keep the peace. It was insane.

Same here, especially on Sundays. People would literally grab stuff out of your hands and one time a bloke made my hand bleed grabbing a yogurt off me

I have seen that, I have also been in that situation ... it's not pleasant.
I do believe in being frugal and not being wasteful, but the cynic in me is thinking what is the hidden agenda here...Like TS mentioned is it to prep people for further cuts, or worse, food shortages?
