Just finished this, was about to make a thread. I loved it. Really really hard-hitting, but feel like something like this had to be made. Some scenes are actually very disturbing, I was not expecting that from something on Netflix aimed at adolescents. But like I said, these things unfortunately do happen and this show shows it in the most hard-hitting way.
I'd give it a 9/10 overall.

I loved it. I wasn't too keen on the fact that they've angled for saving the aftermath for a second season and Tyler potentially going on a killing spree is tone deaf but I loved everything else.

Just finished it, I started when it first came out but took a long time to get though it.

It was very good and thought provoking... only criticism is I found some of the episodes too long, it dragged it places.

Parts of the last episode was very difficult to watch, I was close to not being able to switching off/skipping that particular part because it seemed so real.

I skipped ahead on that bit. I'm not squeamish at all really but I can't watch people cut their wrists. I literally feel a bit faint whenever the vampires in Vampire Diaries bite their own wrists.

Really it's just ok I'm on ep 3 and it's a bigger disappointment than strainger things. I'm not saying they're bad show but they honestly have both been really hyped up only to be a disappointment.

Yeah it really was awful to watch, I felt I was going to be sick when it happened. Like I didn't expect it to be that bad because it was only a small blade but as you can imagine it looked a lot worse.

I get what you mean, like I'm normally fine with gore but this was something else.

I've not seen Vampire Diaries, always hear that VD/True Blood is really good.
