Honestly, this country deserves the brutal throat****ing it's going to get at the Tories' hands. Stupidity has reigned supreme once again. It's a cesspool and, in the words of Peggy Mitchell 'let it burn.' The NHS is done for, it's not going to survive with the Tories anywhere near power. It makes me so ****ing mad because cancer is common in my family and without the NHS we won't be able to afford the absurd costs of treatment to survive if any of us develop it. It's why I'm very intense when it comes to defending the NHS and not wanting the Tories in power. I can't see a future for myself in this country with the Tories in power, the NHS is the only issue that I really care for and now it's at risk. There's no reason to stay if it goes under. Some choice quotes from DUP members in case you're wondering what kind of party May is getting in bed with:
"Jim Wells has resigned as the DUP's health minister after recently saying that "the gay lobby is insatiable, they don’t know when enough is enough", adding: "The facts show that you certainly don’t bring a child up in a homosexual relationship. That child is far more likely to be abused or neglected". Iris Robinson, a former DUP MP and wife of the current party leader, Peter Robinson, described homosexuality as “disgusting, loathsome, nauseating, wicked and vile”, as well as an “abomination” that could be “cured”. " "The DUP also oppose the right of women to an abortion, with Jim Wells saying it should be ruled out for rape victims. The party has also called for a parliamentary debate on reinstating the death penalty." Sammy Wilson DUP MP East Antrim - "I don't care if gays are ratepayers. As far as I am concerned they are perverts". https://www.opendemocracy.net/uk/ada...so-who-are-dup |

A different Labour leader probably would have won, in my opinion. |

A different leader wouldn't have got close to the youth turnout. Corbyn has saved the Labour Party from complete instinction. They should all thank him.

if this had been Miliband rather than Corbyn, labour would have been in with a huge majority i think.

God, this is crazy. Bournemouth East and West are usually strong holds for Conservatives, yet Labour have almost gained a 20% increase in both constituencies based on the result. I'm shocked ****less. Labour have done better than I ever thought they would.

I don't think that's true. He seems to me, like a really good guy, full of empathy, basically he seems like the complete opposite of Theresa may and I reckon that's what got young people backing him and the Labour party. I'm no expert on your politics but that's the impression i got from reading things I've seen online anyhow

Id honestly rather a conservative majority than a Con/DUP coalition
Didn't know much about them before today but after reading quite a bit they seem disgusting, Conservatitves should be embarrassed to be associated with them

Or less should've voted for a party that would form a coalition with the DUP

Sinn Féin are the third biggest party in the Republic of Ireland but neither of the two main parties would ever consider going into coalition with them because of their past ties to the IRA so I am utterly shocked that the Conservative party would do that with the DUP and tbf Sinn Féin are actually a decent party now, the DUP aren't
