The thing is, the Tories are not going to be at all happy with the mess May's just got them in to. I can't stand Osborne but I agreed with him this morning when he said, "May is in office but no longer in power". The Tories are going to be ruthless with her and I expect a good percent will be refusing cabinet posts.

One thing this means is, another election is probably on the cards before the years out. Will the Tories allow her to run her fools errand on Brexit with no mandate? I somehow doubt it.

Who else will touch it though? Don't forget she was pretty much shoehorned into the position she is in...she wasn't ready for it but noone else even half credible wanted the position. And they still won't. At least if they leave May to do it, they can get rid and distance themselves from it all.

I did think May was purposely throwing this election at one stage as she didn't want to deal with Brexit (especially as someone who wanted to stay). She cannot genuinely be that crap surely...

The thing is Sinn Feint are vital in the peace process in Northern Ireland although they don't currently take seats at Westminster when elected in UK elections.

However this going in and relying on the dubious DUP by the Cons could be a really destabilising move as Sinn Feint rightly can take that as the UK govt taking the full Unionist side over the Nationalist side.
That could threaten the power sharing peace process in Northern Ireland
Sinn Feint are already it seems making noises as to the involvement of the Cons with the DUP.

I would dare bet many Con MPs here are very uncomfortable at her rather hurried attempt to do any deal with the DUP.
This could prove to be yet another terrible judgement made by Mrs May.

Playing any politics with the Unionist and Nationalist sides now in Northern Ireland could lead to great distrust and create big issues.

I know lots of people that have disgusting views on straight people and men, that's life.

Those views were not in their manifesto.
