I said before that May was probably wise not to do live TV debates. It's not in her interest.
Now Corbyn i thought foolish for saying he wouldn't.He has everything to prove.
I think that now he sees that Labour actually have a small chance in this election he's going in for the kill.Although i'm not sure how he'd fare against Rudd. She's a steely faced lion.

I think if it was held today, it would have been a Tory win, but judging by the rate that people are jumping ship, I think it might be a tory led hung parliament.

Saying that, I don't know who would agree to a coalition with them? so a labour led hung parliament isn't too far out of reality for me at the moment

Will have to see nearer the time

I dont know why its so hard to grasp TM has said there is no point in polititions just squabbling amongst themselves, she is out meeting voters as it should be,she doesn't need to be scoring points, afterall had Corbyn been the one out canvassing I am sure people would be applauding him.

She can't formulate answers like a human and repeats cliched robotic phrases, that's the fact. Everytime she's done these programmes she's been buried. No wonder she doesn't show up

Lmao at Theresa's reasons for not doing the debate, focusing on the Brexit negotiations and suggesting Jeremy should do too. Why call for a general election in that case you massive spanner? And quelle surprise..no one in the media challenged her on it

The fact is she isn't doing it because she's a coward and knows Jeremy has her number/he has answers and she doesnt

Ok, so could you tell me the reason Corbyn wasn't going to bother either.
Changed his mind at the last minute.....maybe trying to make up for his bumbling yesterday

Because he didn't want to do it if she wasn't there because it would just be all the leaders ganging up on him. He's always been up for the debate

Probably wanting to capitalise on all the momentum labour have been gaining in the last month

Funniest thing is, I'm 100% sure that she is watching the debate live right now. Probably with staff behind her working on her tweets.

Are they all reading from an auto-cue.
Angus and Nuttall certainly looked as if they were.

Spot on, I cannot believe the rubbish about her meeting voters.
She's talking to invited audiences, she has hardly talked to ordinary voters at all.

Also all the other leaders are doing the debates and canvassing real voters too.
If May was doing this debate and any of the other leaders or deputy leaders weren't.
That missing person would be being derided mercilessly by Con MPs and Con supporters.

Gift of the gab is not what makes a good PM. Any old salesman can do that.

Delegation To Ms Rudd who is more confident speaker is a perfectly reasonable choice.

The organised tweets from Torries coming out right now...but I thought these debates are silly and don't matter? "Coalition of Chaos" is the buzzword tonight. Looks like Strong and Stable has died.
