Default Tasks

Since BB started nearly three weeks ago I have only laughed ONCE. That was when the task about the gnomes was on. It was so funny, well thought out and hilarious specially when the human gnome appeared. Other than that its been a bit of a borefest with regards to tasks and of course a bitchfest with all the arguing and fights (most which happen when the housemates have been drinking) I am not in the LEAST surpised that the viewing ratings are abysmal They management or production need to have a crisis meeting and come up with FUNNY, DIFFERENT, and UNIQUE tasks that havent been done to death before like the 'choices' task. This series is fast becoming one of my least favourites of all time. I need HUMOUR

The gnome task was amazing

Thats probably the only decent one we will have though. I do understand its hard to think of original stuff constantly ...but theres got to be a different way than just having 'who said what' and 'truth or dare' constantly :/

all tasks that are designed to be funny are generally hilarious or at worst ok. All designed to create mayhem fail miserably

I have only watched for the past five years but even during this period it appears to me the HMs increasingly have it easier. Less fails of the shopping tasks and swerving a week on basic rations comes to mind.Consequences and punishments for rule breaks less harsh than they should or used to be. ?

I'm pretty sure a member of production said that when there's a lot of drama between housemates in a series they don't do many tasks. This series the housemates could cause a brawl out of anything so that's probably why we're not seeing many.

I totally agree chuff. I mean the production and powers that be are aware of the falling ratings the past few years and they have done SOD ALL to address that. They have even put in one of the worst set of housemates ever. No WONDER i love Love Island lol

Personally I think that the original concept of BB is dead and this is just a version of it.

they could have such fun - like the phone ringing all night and someone had to answer it just little things - come on BB put on the thinking cap.

Yup. It will never happen with these producers though as they want to see them all pissed everynight in the hope of someone getting drunk enough to shag. Its really sad tbh. I mean, even when we do get housemates shagging you see nothing and its just awkward/vile to watch. 'Open it' still makes me feel ill years on

This show desperately needs a a 24+ hour long tasks.
Take for example the sleepless 48 hrs task of BB8 (which they quit but nevermind) - this could be really interesting and create enough drama (which will satisfy the producers).
They don't even bother with the tasks, they're non existent.
