Default Why do Channel 5 try and do like 8 person evictions?
Surely they'd get more votes if it was just between 2 or 3?

More housemates means more votes means more money.
If your favourite is amongst those that are up you are more likely to vote than if your favourite is safe.
As different people have different favourites you get more people voting.
