True

Its probably for the free social media promotion, in the same way that starbucks will purposely misspell your name

I don't want to drink my drink from a jam jar (another annoying fad), nor do I want to eat my dinner off a bit of wood that I'm not 100% sure has been cleaned properly.

Now whose complaining about something silly when there are so many serious problems in the world. Practice what you preach.

Your blatant attempts to find any excuse to ridicule and bait are there for all to see. I will leave you to it!

And yet there was a national outcry when we couldn't have our fish and chips in paper any longer.

I quite like the little metal bucket for chips. It keeps them seperate from the rest of the meal, especially if it's greasy. I don't want my chips drowning in meat juices.

You might have a point there! My pet hate though, as TS so succinctly put it, is eating off a chopping board. I got a burger etc served up in what appeared to be a frying pan a few weeks' ago.

I hate these! If I wanted to feel anxious about burning myself I could have cooked my steak at home.

They can keep their sizzling platter and give me a plate. I haven't' had it before probably because I usually order pasta dishes.

I like the presentation that gives your food like a special vibe and links it to the culture the dish is from, all I worry about though is the cleanliness of some of the materials like wood and everything and if they can remove all the bacteria from it, especially when the wood is carved
A very first world problem though

For two weeks at the beginning of 2nd year Uni, I had no money, no plates, and very little food (a couple of huge bags of rice and things like onions, peppers, the occasional chicken breast) which I literally ate out of a frying pan . I just cooked it and then ate it direct .
