Just watched the press conference for the documentary, no tea, but she's taking a rest next year

The interviewer pretty much said that the madonna moment was that she was pissed off that madonna went to the press, or mentioned it in the press first rather than speaking to gaga first

feud cancelled!

That doesnt even make sense considering gags herself said on Leno that the queen emailed her approval for BTW.

How does it not make sense

The only issue I have with Madonna is [she tried to create a feud in the press rather than speaking to me privately beforehand]

How does it?

Gags started it off the second she ripped off Madonna.

She was the first to speak about Madonna sending her that mysterious email but Liz Rosenberg (Madonna's rep) and everyone in Madonna's camp denied any knowledge of it happening and didn't have any idea WTF Gags was on about. Then she showed up at the MTV awards looking like a reductive 1990's Blond Ambition Madonna and yet she thanked Whitney Houston? LOL.

Well earned rest imo.

No doubt Ryan Murphy will try to ask her to do an episode or 2 of season 8 though if she's available.

When did Gaga and Madonna appear on that SNL sketch together? Pre or post feud?

Yeah I imagine once the tour wraps in December she'll go away for a while until she needs to pomotoe ASIB, she'll probably write/record in that time and like you say, hopefully be in AHS8

The answer comes early in “Five Foot Two,” as an unvarnished Gaga gets real while sitting on the curb. “The thing with me and Madonna is that I admired her always and still admire her, no matter what she might think of me,” says Gaga. “The only thing that really bothers me about her is [that] I’m Italian and from New York, so if I have a problem with somebody, I’m gonna tell you to your face.”

To hear Gaga tell it, if Madonna would just take her comments straight to the source, there’d be no beef. “She wouldn’t look me in the eye and tell me I’m reductive,” says Gaga, using one of the Material Girl’s pet adjectives.

And there you have it

Madonna didn't call her reductive, she said "Born This Way" was reductive, she was being truthful when asked questions by Diane Sawyer. I mean, when was Gags around for her to say anything to her face to face? Other than the MET Gala in 2015 they haven't been seen together. Madonna had already offered an olive branch during the MDNA tour but she declined.

M has a sharp tongue, so she wouldnt have a problem with telling anyone what she thought of them if she needed to get something off her chest.

If Gaga tells things to people's faces, then why did she wait until now to say something - but I think we all know the answer to that - publicity! If she HAD said something at the MET gala past issues would've been cleared up and there wouldn't be any need to talk about M during this documentary.

Look at how much publicity she's generating from talking about M. Elton does the same whenever he has something to promote. I think the best thing for M to do is ignore them completely, because feeding these parasites any sort of attention is exactly what they want.

Well she was filmed over a period of 18 months and asked one question about her that she didn't even know was going to be in the documentary, that's hardly asking for publicity unlike Madonna in 2011, 12, 14 & 15 who felt the need to talk about her constantly

But like you say, she should just ignore it maybe you should too!

Didn't Madonna answer the question about what she thought of the comparisons made between Gaga and Madonna and say "it's reductive" so not Gaga or any specific song, but that the comparisons constantly drawn between them are reductive?

5F2 currently sits at 83 on metacritic and the first reviews are coming in

Quote:
Whether you like Lady Gaga or not, whether you even liked “Joanne”: you will at least finish “Five Foot Two” with a newfound respect for her. She has been and still is the real deal as a musician and she’s battling physical demons to support her art and reward her millions of loyal fans. But she’s not gonna give you or someone capturing her life everything. There’s still got to be some mystery to pine after."
Quote:
Lady Gaga Strips Down in Emotional, Awards-Worthy Documentary Five Foot Two
Quote:
The phrase rock star, as we know it, means a couple of things. It means rock star. And it also means someone who’s the celebrated badass master of his or her domain — he’s the rock star of tax attorneys, she’s the rock star of personal trainers, he’s the rock star of plumbers. By that measure, I would have to call Lady Gaga the rock star of rock stars. She may not be at the dizzying commercial apex she was when she revolutionized the music business with her rhapsodic dance pop (at this moment, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift seem a little higher in the heavens). But in her fusion of sex, fashion, grooves, moves, aura, outrage, and — how can I put this? — sheer awesome electric ecstasy, she’s still on the edge of glory, on a towering peak all her own

Get that acclaim
