From what I've heard it's legit pay-to-win... If you're not willing to spend money on the multiplayer then you won't really be able to compete. Which is just total crap. I don't mind some microtransactions per season, but it should be for character models and other cosmetic changes to the game in my opinion - or maybe to fast-track better weapons etc. that are still unlockable through NORMAL (not extreme grinding) gameplay. An example would be you could have some characters and weapons that only unlock after you complete single player, but people who just want to play for multiplayer can unlock them for a few £.

Ugh really? That is so greedy of EA, like they need more money.

What I've played I enjoyed it but I guess multiplayer mode will be terrible now.

Great game and a huge upgrade on the first one. Arcade mode is a lot of fun and heroes vs villains is still good. The gameplay is a thousand times better than the first one and you can definitely feel the a bigger difference when you're a hero/villain character vs a regular character.

The business model they have approached it with is all wrong but I got the £70 version for £50 anyway so can't complain. I also have enough credits to buy the 2 most expensive characters (Vader and Luke) after only about 5-6 hours of gameplay so the costs aren't THAT bad.

Oh, so the multiplayer is worth it? Never played battlefront 1 so had no idea what to expect for this game.

Yeah. I can't speak for the other modes because I haven't played them yet but Heroes vs Villains is a lot of fun... Just very difficult. I'm hoping it'll be a bit easier from tomorrow when millions of people are getting online and playing, compared to now when it's just people who pre-ordered.

I'm in shock at how good the graphics are in Campaign mode, Iden looks like a real person. I've never seen game graphics that good before, it's just like watching a film. Really good storyline too.

I just played this for about an hour for the first time and I am honestly in need of recuperation. That was a headache!

(Think I mostly did the 'Blast' mode? If that's right? With 10v10?... the highest I finished was 4th on the winning team, never placed in the Top 5 overall though )
