This comes as no surprise with all the problems created. The scheme has been abused by millions. There has to be a better way other than forcing people onto countries in such large numbers. It was doomed to disaster from the start. Any future schemes should focus on the successful integration of those coming into the country.

The best way to do it would be to stop them crossing the Med, and supplying decent camps on their side. But what's being proposed now is better than the current system.
