To be fair we got 4 years of storyline out of it. Queen Jane got her limelight.

The problem was 75% of its execution and the conclusion being overseen by SOC.

I think more than the loss of Lucy as a character, the biggest regret is decimating the Beale's. They had no purpose for a while (when it was Ian and that Mandy Salter).

Then suddenly Jane's back, Kathy's back, Cindy introduced. But Lucy's killed, Stephen's killed, Jane quits, Peter quits. Mostly due to the one storyline.
