No wonder, through multiple EP's, the show seems to continue with the similar problems.

It's him that's the issue with characterisation and pacing I feel.

The heist plot and "Who Took the Money?" and Aiden/Ciara/Mel is just like the Weyland plot. Full of potential but written horribly.

Sort it out EastEnders, it has some great potential plots and wastes them.

It could be gripping. EE seems to have completely lost the ability to be at all gripping or gritty.

Given John Yorke's previous success, I can only imagine it's true about Oliver Kent being the brunt of the show's issues.

True. She's bumped into Kathy twice since she ran off when he tried to give her his number.

That's the biggest issue with the show tbh. They have the cast and even some semblance of interesting stories, but the continuity is completely out and I have no idea why.

Yorke MUST have scrapped tonnes of work that had to be redone at the last minute. There's no other explanation for it.
