I never disliked him for that comment that everyone blew out of proportion - I just wasn't really a fan of his character he seemed quite forceful

I haven't watched . But i will never change my opinion as John seemed down to earth ,honest and a nice guy . People were too quick to doubt him .

Like I don't think it was the case that he was talking purely about 'society' in his chat with Shane, he did refer to his personal attitude a few times as well

Jim Davidson was offensive to everybody . John actually get's on with everyone and is the polar opposite of Jim Davidson who referred to gays as "shirt lifters" on hells kitchen .
