-The sound of heels can be heard on the marble floor. Camera pans up from the stilettos to reveal Rylan's face. A crowd of schoolchildren trail behind him-
".... and here we see the infamous bottle!" He performs, and flamboyantly points to a slimey wine bottle, covered in vaginal fluid. |

I actually do think if they could resource memorabilia (sofas, DR chairs, furnishings etc) and recreate iconic last houses it actually would make a great guided tour museum. I imagine they could even get ex Housemates who are still super fans (Nikki, Brian Belo, Rylan etc) to help with the guided tours on special occasions. Like get Nikki to do a tour on the anniversary of BB7 launch etc

Ugh that would be so good. A replication of Kinga and the Bottle in the house. A model of Becky Hannon jumping in the pool from her entrance. Biannca Lake flashing her tits. Sukhvinder being suffocated with a bread bag in the lounge. Kayleigh brushing her hair in the kitchen. Steven and Kimberly conceiving a baby in the bedroom.

I could see the BB house becoming a museum because of its significance in pop culture...

Planning permission means the house is only a temporary structure and at the end of the permission, Endemol are required to return the land to its original state. They just keep renewing it at the minute for different time lengths. So, if they don’t apply for an extension they have to dismantle the house and external studios/production village after the permission expires... and I don’t see Endemol renewing planning permission on the house to make a museum on a working studio lot unfortunately!

Because it's a studio. If Big Brother aren't using it, it gets used for something else. Unless Endemol themselves continues to loan the land and make it a museum, which I highly doubt.

If it remains Elstree wouldn't be able to use it for much more than storage or as a workshop, but studio space is now in short supply and although it's gone quiet again on building a new studio opposite the BB house I think should BBUK go and Elstree lose part of their income they'd have to seriously look at utilising that land - hopefully retain it for studio space.

The only house that would be worth turning into some sort of museum (if they were going to) would be the BB1 house as that's the one that started the franchise/changed TV, it would be less about which was the better series and more about the significance of the house itself. But that house was completely different to the current one (and in a different location and probably already demolished 17 years ago lol) so preserving the current house for these reasons wouldn't make much sense to me. Also, what Scott said, I doubt there'd be enough revenue to warrant it anyway.
