Default Virgin Media can follow in Carphone Warehouse\'s steps, if BB8 turns out bad. (They will be watching closely, especially with these New Rules)

Sponsership is everything you know

Carphone Warehouse pulled out due to the race furore in CBB5, but they had their reasons and there will be a get-out clause.

Virgin Media will be watching this new Ofcom thing and especially the New Rule book.

If the ratings are okay, maybe a little down, then perhaps they will stick around as sponsership?

But what would YOU do, if the ratings dropped so low, that the money spent by Virgin Media, is just NOT worth investing any longer.

Should they pull out, or ride the show whatever???

I find it funny they have the guts to have there slogan as For a Happy House! lol its great. I can imagine the adverts now. Clips of Jade and Shilpa - then a man steps in "Hey its Virgin Media - For a Happy House" or something!
I think there really spending alot on this - with the video streaming and competitions, I think its going to be a good investment. If ratings did get low I'm sure they would have trust in BB/Channel4 that ratings would pick up.

well i could see why they would cease sponsorship.. i would if i was paying for it.. but then again you have to have faith that big brother will bounce back as it has in the past... you can never bring big brother down

Virgin Media will definately be thinking right now and I am sure that they have been in contact with Endemol already over this.

Naturally, they will be concerned.

If They announce that they won't be sponsering the new BB8 then, I don't know what Endemol will do?

I think they will "Test the water" first and they know that Launch Night will bring in good ratings.

It all depends what happens beyond that, in regards of the New Rule book.

Exactly i can imagine that virgin media, endemol and the BB producers are all feeling nervous about the launch right now, if it all goes well then great, but if it goes badly then god forbid

We must hope not Lindz

Fingers crossed, eh

Sponsership is important, as it makes Endemol ride the possible future storm, a lot better.

There are mutterings, that Virgin Media will be happy to get behind CBB6 but as yet, we need to thing about BB8 first and the New Rule book could affect things dramatically.

Well hopefully this new rule book is just a rumour or something that has been blown out of proprotion, but i think if BB8 goes well virgin media will probably go on to sponsor CBB6

That will be the best news, if the "new rule book" is just a rumour that the Newspaper has concocted up?

I know that Virgin Media have plans for CBB6 & perhaps BB9 as well, but everything which occurs in BB8 and the Ofcom investigation will be watched closely
