Default Matrix Reloaded

Has anyone been to see this yet? I LOVED the first film and can't wait to see Reloaded.

I've a feeling my son will be dragging me to the cinema sometime during half term (or it could be the other way round!!!!)

I fell asleep in the first one and fell asleep in this one as well

It has nothing to do with the films, they seem amazing, i just seem to fall asleep and then get really confused about the story line .....

During the half term I am going to watch the first one without falling asleep because it seems like the kind of film that I would really like. It is my mission

That's so similar to me!

I watched the first one at a friends house, and we were watching it in dribs and drabs and I got bored.... Found it a bit confusing and havn't watched it since.

I have no intention at the moment of going and seeing the second one because a) Its a carry on plot from the first and b) 3 Hours of BB > 3 hours of Matrix

Like you, I think they are films I would really like - I just need to get around to watching them!

I think there is a third Matrix coming out in a month... So after that I imagine they will release all three on DVD in a set..... Then I might be tempted to go and buy and have a quiet evening in lol

If you want to see a confusing film, try Donnie Darko - I had to watch that film about 5 times and still now I don't get it all

The Matrix is a great film because of it's questions on reality. It questions our reasons for being and for what purpose. which is interesting, I'm going to see reloaded as soon as the rush dies down a bit.

I saw 'The Matrix Reloaded' yesterday and thought it was very good but not as good as the original film. It is well worth seeing on the big screen but it is not without its problems.
I think that the main problem that the film has is that is setting up the plot for the third film. After a good opening, it slows right down when the crew reach Zion, the city mentioned in the first film. The plot then gathers momentum and the audience is treated to fights, car chases and dazzling special effects galore. The only trouble is there is so much going on that at times it is difficult to fully comprehend what's going on. This is not necessarily a bad thing; it doesn't just rehash the original film. It just means that you'll have to see it a couple of times to completely appreciate it. Trust me, you'll want to see it again because it is very enjoyable.
Incidentally, stay until the very end of the credits and you will see a brief preview of 'The Matrix Revolutions' which opens in November.

Thanks for the info Chris, I'll certainly stay put 'til they throw me out!

Does the Matrix exist? Do we LIVE in the Matrix? Just thought I'd throw that in for a bit of devilment!!!

I have seen The Matrix three times now and it took me that long to work it out!!!!!

I don't see the point in seeing the new one at the pictures because I won't get it, I'll need to buy the DVD and watch it over and over again!

You beat me to this one.

Could we all be part of the matrix right now ?

Could the sentinals have allowed the film series to be made so that if anyone comes up with the truth they have plausible deniability.

Worrying isn't it . . .

It is similar to something Decarte pondered

(Sorry have to speak to a guy in sunglasses and a black tuxedo - I hope this won't take long

I'm going to see it on Thursday and I'm really looking forward to it 'cause I'm a fan of the original (which I taped the other night) and I know Reloaded is gonna be excellent too! I hope it doesn't take too long for it to come out on video/DVD.

Well, I have _not seen it yet, but unlike OH, loved the first one. I got the video for Christmas in 2001 - I suspect so that No 1 son could break the mo_notony of staying with us by watching it.

Any rode, the very same No 1 son has seen it and apparently it is awesome and should be seen by EVERYONE immediately!

In the meantime check this out!

Oh, the joys of broadband! This is when you really start to appreciate it!!

Oh, and peachy a word of warning, if you hated LOTR, you'll loathe this!
