I had absolutely no idea what this was. Only saw memes on it, and assumed it was a feud between two twitter celebrities or something haha. So inevitably I avoided that... until now.

By the looks of things, it's a lot easier for someone who mainly hears Yanny to also hear Laurel, than for someone who mainly hears Laurel to also hear Yanny. It's interesting.

The main reason I set this thread up was to see if those who hear yanny or yammy see a white and gold dress so far to see who i have asked do so their is definitely a connection there

OMGGGG I heard this as Laurel on the TV after these baseball commentators were talking about it and played the audio (which I'm not even watching but I heard that in the background)

So I came back in here and it's ****ing LAUREL NOW!

That's ****ed up Honestly I think the audio just changes or something

Ahhh this is extra ****ed up now..... I tried really hard to hear Yanny again and it just suddenly switched to "Yammy" again!!!

Also am I the only one who hears it as "Yammy"??? It's literally never an n sound for me at all, clear m sound when I hear yanny.

Lmaoooooo I think I beat the system... I literally hear BOTH being said at the same time now.

It's actually freaky now when you hear both at once But I guess this kind of explains how people are hearing two different things... both words are actually being said but they blend together somehow?

I was thinking the audio changes as well when I heard Laurel on my phone but four of us were listening to the same thing and 2 of us heard Laurel and the other 2 heard Yanny
