Gareth Southgate is basically the english Phillip Cocu, having a complete team of youngsters and doing the impossible Cocu also had only young players at PSV and became champions 3 times with them
Support who you like Nicky, if it's England then great, if it's a team like bloody Gibraltar then equally great, just as long as you like the team then there's no need for you to justify yourself to anyone else.

i do actually root for Gibraltar clubs at champions league qualifying rounds, and Europa league qualifying rounds

they are quite lovely, and even if they go down with monster scores like 0-7, 0-8 their fans still remain so cheerful and full of joy

I have a soft spot for Gibraltar aswell, it's why they came to my mind to use as an analogy.

It would be awesome if one of their clubs could win a Champions League, it would be bigger than the Leicester moment in the Prem.

I don't understand how anyone could say England fans are cocky especially over a song. We sing it because it's a football anthem not because we are sure England win it's just to show support to the team and hope really.
