Obviously we all have our dreams and nightmares, but have you ever had a dream that's a bit different from that? To the point of the dream making you feel really down afterwards?

I'm asking this question because I've just woke up from mine where my Cat was aging rapidly during one day, it showed her as a Kitten all the way into her old age and someone in my family (I think it was my Nan) was even saying how "she's not got long left to live."

Anyway enough about me, what about you guys? Any depressing dreams you wanna talk about?

I’ve had several of those dreams into my adolescence, but now not so much...

Not for ages but I actually had one last night where I discovered my own dead body and it wasn't so much upsetting as it was just very unsettling and creepy and it did stay with me throughout the day which is very unusual for me.

There was a whole mysterious build up to the discovery as well which added to it, I think it'd make quite a good paranormal story actually so I might sell it and make my millions

I tend to have dreams of really random people dying next to me and i burst out crying and then wake up crying which then makes me laugh because its always someone reallt random too, the randomest was connor the irish guy from neighbours years back i was sobbing in my dream and he was very meh in neighbours

I dreamt once that I spent the day with twenty one pilots and we just hung out at their house and then went for dinner at their favourite place (Taco Bell) and then I woke up and was deeply upset it wasn't real

Not a dream you have when you sleep. But every time I dream like, in regards to my ambitions, I cry

not because I'm upset, but because my future is that bright my eyes water and I start to cry

I had a dream about BB13 about a year ago. and it was a total mess.

So I was in this like clique separate bedroom with scott, becky and caroline and i was living my best life. then i woke up and cried because i love scott, becky and cazza

I have these type of dreams all the time, and they can leave me feeling unsettled for hours into the day. Consequently, I got into dream analysis which is really interesting, and something I would recommend to anyone who dreams a lot, particularly if those dreams are disturbing. The idea is that your subconscious is trying to encourage you to recognise and deal with an issue you are not tackling in your waking life. If you can analyse your dreams and understand them, it takes away their power to unnerve you, as well as proving beneficial to your waking life.
