I have really changed my opinion of Rylan recently. This series of BOTS has been a pretty drastic improvement in my eyes, and he's been such an advocate for the show. He clearly loves it and I'd be happy for him to do an Emma and take over the main show if it came back in a few years time and she wasn't interested.

It really depends how well this series does whether anyone will be interested

Channel 5 have done their best to sabotage the overnight ratings at least with the scheduling
