Default The Bad Boy

People keep pointing out that Lewis has a criminal past, I have looked and can't find anything about him being an arsonist and thief,so whatever he did must have been minor otherwise the press would have been on it like flies round ****,I found stuff like this https://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/...oving-13253711 but nothing much about him doing the things some say he did,so where have these stories come from? I know, another Lewis thread, just stone me

And he made a frank and honest revelation about his past in his introductory VT.

Lewis said: "I've committed a lot of crimes in my life that I'm not proud of – drugs, theft arson."

He has turned his life around. The only thing remaining is his bad temper. But he's a good lad.

Well there you go,he has been up front plus it doesn't say how 'bad' these crimes were, must have been minor I would think,it doesn't say when it was done, the drugs part may have made him paranoid, it happens to a lot of people, most people have nicked something,as for the arson, naughty but obviously we don't know the context of what it was ,he probs set someones bonfire alight.but thanks at least that's something,it's just strange that the tabloids aren't all over this, but there's time yet.

It seems odd how Big Brother can pick and choose what past offences a housemate is allowed to have and still remain in the house.

So Lewis F was involved in drugs, theft arson and stays in the house

Ellis posts a tweet when she was a teen and is kicked out

You can not be arrested for personal use only intent to sell.

Arson is a very nasty crime destroying someones property they worked for

Theft is also vile stealing other peoples property

I dont see how you think they are minor

Homophobia and Racism have always been seen by BB as the most serious and perpetrators evicted immediately.

How many BB or CBB housemates have criminal records over the years but have remained in the BB house and were previously picked to go in there.

You cannot single out Lewis just because you don't care for him but nice try.

1. It is a nasty crime, but it doesn't say what it was ,he could have been a teen in a group there are few scenarios, nothing says he destroyed anyones property, but it's wrong and he has seen that so see no reason to condemn him now.
2.Theft,C'mon that could be anything ,no matter how big or small most of us have done it.

3.Nothing says he sold it,he could have been stashing it,using it,buying it,again it doesn't say what,of course it's wrong but he has admitted it so I don't see a problem at all.it was probably years ago.

I would say the arson was the worst but he's obviously seen the error of his ways,no need to hold it against him now.

I wonder why Big Brother didn't conclude that there was no need to hold Ellis's tweet against her since it was made years ago when she was just a teen.

So Big Brother :
drugs, theft arson OK

a tweet NOT OK

Depends what the tweet says , crimes are dealt with and in the past ,a tweet of someones views could still be valid.

IF any of Lewis past crimes were big, BB would not have allowed him in the house

Quite..

It does seem odd and very inconsistent tbh.

However, I don't think having a blanket rule against all with a criminal past is the right way to go either. So while criticizing, I don't know what they should do

They have allowed people who have done prison time in..so I wouldn't be so sure. They seem to pick and chose, tbh. Which is a bit daft.

What? You can get a warning for ****ing rape. So jail time makes no odds

(To be clear, I am not saying Lewis raped anyone...nor am I saying they weren't minor, but the 'must be minor because no jail' defence is flawed)

Its not my opinion that major crimes often don't result in jail time though. Its fact.
