Interesting concept, but doesn't really work. Ok for a one-off though, but not quite a "thing" that should continue.

It was alright but very repetitive considering there's no way to achieve a "perfect" ending as such.

I think it’s a very interesting and a fairly well executed concept. It definitely feels more like a game than a TV episode, but I think that was pretty much the point anyway. The storytelling wasn’t Black Mirror at its strongest, but I think it gives you plenty to dissect and think about. I give it an 7.5/10 mostly for the ambitious concept alone, and there are moments that are genuinely unnerving and anxiety inducing. It wasn’t perfect, but I think it (mostly) achieved what it set out to do.

LMFAO, the ending. did everyone eventually get there?

The resetting was annoying, and I knew I wasn't going to enjoy it much from the first reset when Bandersnatch failed after I clicked Yes to working in the office. idk why but I thought each option had a thorough consequence that would affect the narrative. Not a basic narrative (if you can call it that) with added scenes that would ultimately take you back onto the path that was intended.

The interactivity was obviously the golden feature. I wasn't invested in the story much because I was constantly waiting for the next options to appear, but then the storytelling was never strong anyway so it never mattered. T'was quite fun as a warm-up to the new season.

also, I loved Will Poulter's character.

I think I was excepting too much from this, I had more like a TellTale game style thing in mind where every decision you makes has an imapavt on what happens, not just pick the correct option and if you pick the wrong one you have to do it again for most cases.

Yeah, I was expecting each decision to take you on a different version of the episode which would play out. Not the "incorrect" decision to basically give you one 'bonus scene' and then make you pick the correct one.

Interesting concept but didn't really hit the potential it had.

I thought it was bloody brilliant for what it was. I would like another episode like it again but yeah I agree for it not to be a continuous thing but I enjoyed it for what it was. I can't wait until series 5 actually starts. I am guessing it will be a few months from now. But I'm so happy Bandersnatch came out to warm us all up first. I give it 10/10 but Black Mirror is pretty much my favourite show!

Agree with what most are saying on here. The concept is brilliant and it was quite fun, but I think it was a bit of a letdown. It did get quite tedious having to restart whenever you chose the wrong option. I didn't expect it to be more like a game instead of an episode, which at first I was quite excited about, but this meant that the actual story suffered. My favourite part was the whole 'Netflix viewers controlling him from the 21st century". That was cool.

So yeah, a decent episode/film/game??? and a really unique concept, but it just didn't deliver what everyone thought it would. Will probably be forgotten about as soon as the new series is released.

The “resetting” was tedious. I, too, expected a different story for each path you took. Saying that, I applaud the uniqueness, the core storyline itself and the ending I finally got to was rather somber yet fulfilling.

So, are there more than one “actual” ending? I spent about an hour and a half getting to mine.

My ending was cute

Spoiler:

he time travels through the mirror to when he was a baby and gets the bear back from his dad then gets on the train with his mum and it flashes forward to the doctors office where he dies (obvs him dying on the train erases his timeline or some **** so he dies in all of the realities)

WHICH WAS CUTE but then they added a little extra bit on that was just... dumb

He gets on the bus and starts playing a cassette with “bandersnatch demon” written on it and it’s just like weird broken computer noises

Like it’d have been so much cuter without that stupid bit added on at the end

ALSO the bit where he was like in a science lab with his dad being used as a lab rat or whatever was also dumb
