“After leaving prison, he took up his famous role on EastEnders in the 1980s, before making a much-anticipated return in 2003.

But it went far from smooth after he became embroiled in an online sex scandal in 2014, in which he was caught exposing himself to an undercover reporter via a webcam from his dressing room.

He left in 2015, and died in June 2018, reportedly having suffered from lung cancer.”

I HATE new Ben, never seen such bad acting and this show has Stuart still swanning around.

The accent is literally making me want to turn over

Granted, the characterisation is off this time. A stamp of Oates tbh.

But acting wise he's nowhere near the bad performances of Reid and Pascoe.

I still think Michelle Fowler is probably the worst recast I've seen. In terms of change in character.
