Default Brexit backer Dyson moves head office to Singapore

Its not because of Brexit
he is making Electric Cars out there.
Thats a Massive amount of cash invested
in Electric Cars.

https://news.sky.com/story/brexit-ba...apore-11614700

It Makes sense to based there.

[The firm said in a statement: "An increasing majority of Dyson's customers and all of our
manufacturing operations are now in Asia; this shift has been
occurring for some time and will quicken as Dyson brings its electric vehicle to market.
"We are now at a point where Dyson's corporate head office will
relocate there to reflect the increasing importance of Asia to Dyson's business."]

MEANWHILE:
[Several car makers including Nissan, Ford, Toyota and Honda
have been warning
about the rising prospects of a no-deal Brexit,
which would jeopardise their operations in Britain.]

It makes sense to be based there, said one brexit supporter who wishes to remain anonymous as he's dealing with a severe case of cognitive dissonance right about now.

Singapore signed a free trade agreement with the EU 3 months ago, so he's moving his business out of the UK to get a better deal with the EU, than he can staying here.

Grim tidings for Brexit but it's the delusion from the brexit side spinning this into something it's not to minimize it's impact that's disappointing.

No matter which side you're on, you've got to acknowledge the facts and events when they happen. People choosing to believe lies and spin are not helping themselves.

The inventor, who made huge a increase in profits after shifting production of his vacuum cleaners to Malaysia from the UK in 2003, also wants it easier to hire and fire workers arguing “not being able to flex your workforce is another big reason why you wouldn’t start or expand a manufacturing business”.

And he said corporation tax should be “eliminated” adding it is a “very odd thing because there are ways of getting around paying it”.

“You shouldn’t really be taxing profits, you should allow profits to be reinvested.”

He will find this much easier in Singapore I expect

Pollster Peter kellner (I think) said recently, that because of the age/demographics of those that voted leave, even if no one changed their minds and only those that voted 1st time were allowed to vote again (on both sides), come the end of march, remain would automatically be the majority position.

I've had a Dyson and it was useless. I have a Henry too, and honestly, it's bloody brilliant in comparison.
